Adam’s Inn is actually 4 Victorian homes that are operated as a Bed and Breakfast facility. The buildings are located in downtown DC, in the Adams Morgan district.

Modestly priced, this hotel has been used by visitors from around the world. It is minutes from the Red Line Metro and numerous tourist sites are within walking distance. This 100 year old set of homes has been operated as a B&B for at least 20 years and offers private baths, as well as a free continental breakfast.

Adam’s Inn is pet friendly, and currently has 27 rooms for rent. The hotel is usually described as a “home away from home” and offers inexpensive rooms, especially when compared to other hotels in the DC area.

Travelocity was founded in 1996 as a subsidiary of American Airlines reservation company Sabre Holdings. The company began to expand quickly once it began advertising on AOL in 1999.

The company operates an online reservation system that offers discounts on airline tickets, car rentals, hotel reservations, and packaged vacations. Travelocity has acquired numerous companies over the years, including AllHotels.Com, Site 59, and Lastminute.Com. Travelocity now operates as a subsidiary of Expedia.com, who acquired the company in January of 2015 for $280 million.

Expedia states that it has no intention, as of today, of changing Travelocity’s name. It is rumored that Expedia might also be interested in purchasing Orbitz.

MagicJack was founded in 2007 by Dan Borislow and Donald Burns. MagicJack is a VOIP device that allows users to make and receive phone calls from any computer with an internet connection, as well as phone calls from other non-MagicJack users.

The company provides financing and a rent to own option on many household items including mattresses, computers, televisions, appliances, and furniture items. The company also allows clients to rent items from other stores that FlexShopper doesn’t carry. Partnership stores include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sears, and Best Buy.

Vivint Corporate Office

Vivint was founded in 1999 in Provo, Utah, by current co-owners and CEO Todd Pederson and Keith Nellson. Originally named APX Alarm Security Solutions, the company sold and installed alarm systems for homes and businesses. In 2006, the company began to expand substantially when it began monitoring services.

Today, Vivint is a smart home service provider. The company was acquired by The Blackstone Group in 2012 for $2 billion. In late 2016, Vivint claimed to have more than 1 million clients in the US and Canada. The company is perhaps best known for the Vivint Doorbell Camera, which allows clients to see and respond to anyone who rings the doorbell at their home or office, giving the impression that they are in the building.

In July 2018, Best Buy stated that they were reconsidering their partnership with Vivint, which began in May 2017. This partnership allowed a few Vivint employees to work from Best Buy locations to help solve problems customers might have with products, as well as answer questions.
