Wildwood Roofing and Construction began when high school friends Jared Ball and Mike Grossman, were attending college. They supplemented their income by working for a large roofing business. They believed that they could streamline and improve on the basic idea for roofing and began their own company in 2013.

The company does general construction work  and specializes in roofing both residential and commercial buildings. Competition is stiff, but the company knows St. Louis City and County fire safety and building codes, as well as international standards like ASTM, UL, and the NRCA. In addition to roofing, the company does masonry work, window replacement, attic insulation, and storm restoration.
