Olin Corporate Office

Olin Corporation was founded in 1892 by Franklin Walter Odin. The company manufactures ammunition, chlorine, and sodium hydroxide.

The company has a long history of mishaps and malfunctions, which endangers the lives of those who live near or work at company plants.

Olin Corporation has expanded via the acquisition of other companies.

In May 2007, Olin agreed to buy Pioneer Co. Inc., a chlor-alkali products maker, for $414 million.

In 2010, an equipment failure at the asbestos-producing McIntosh plant released caustic soda into the atmosphere. Residents claim that the plant frequently releases chlorine into the atmosphere while also complaining that they are not adequately informed of the leaks and possible dangers.

In December 2022, workers in Alabama claimed that they were regularly exposed to asbestos for long periods of time without the company informing them of the dangers or the exposure.

Olin Corporation is listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbol OLN.

Olin maintains a corporate office in Clayton, Missouri.

Igloo Coolers Corporate Office

Igloo can trace its roots back to 1947 when a metal working shop began producing metal water coolers for construction and other blue-collar workers.

In 1971, the official name of the manufacturing company was incorporated as Igloo.

Igloo coolers are still made in the USA, in a manufacturing plant located in Katy, Texas.

In September 2021, Igloo was acquired by a Swedish manufacturing company, Dometic Group, for $677 million.

In June 2022, Igloo released a special edition cooler featuring deceased rapper Tupac Shakur in honor of his birthday.

Igloo brand is often referred to as the Granddaddy of coolers and is one of the best-known brand names in the world.

Igloo maintains a corporate office in Katy, Texas. It is unknown if headquarters will be moved after Dometic’s acquisition.

Brother International Corporate Office

Brother International can trace its roots back to 1908 in Nagoya, Japan, when Kanekichi Yasui started a sewing machine manufacturing company.

In 1955, Brother International Corporation (US) was established as their first overseas sales affiliated.

Brother is a Japanese multinational electronics and electrical equipment company. Its product lineup includes printers, multifunction printers, desktop computers, home and industrial sewing machines, large machine tools, label makers, typewriters, fax machines, and other computer-related electronics.

As of March 2020, Brother’s annual sales revenue had reached 637,259 million yen (US$6,044,666,710 at October 2020 exchange rates)

In May 2017, Brother Industries manufactured their 60 millionth home sewing machine.

In January 2021, the company announced that it was releasing a retail printing and labeling device for Omnichannel.

During 2020, industrial sewing machine demands have increased to the point where manufacturers like Brother are having difficulty meeting demand.

While Brother maintains a main corporate office in Nagoya, Japan, it also has headquarters in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey..

SimpleHuman Corporate Office

Frank Yang, an immigrant from Taiwan, decided he could make a better, cleaner trash can for the kitchen. SimpleHuman was founded in 2000 in Los Angeles, California.

The company designs, manufactures, and sells a variety of home items, many of them voice-activated, such as trash cans, soap dispensers, mirrors, and other items.

Yang originally named his company CanWorks, but as the company has evolved to include items other than trash cans, the name was changed.

While Yang mainly sold his products at retailers such as Bed Bath and Beyond and Home Depot, in 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Yang decided that he should also sell his items on his website.

And like many companies, due to the interruption of the supply chain, SimpleHuman has found itself overwhelmed with orders, causing many items to become back-ordered.

In April 2021, Yang donated 3,000 touchless soap dispensers to local schools not only in an effort to fight the coronavirus but to test his product to see if it will last at least 150,000 cycles.

Nearly all reviews are positive, whether it’s trash cans or paper towel holders.

SimpleHuman maintains a corporate office in Torrance, California.

Lodge Cast Iron Corporate Office

Joseph Lodge left home at 15 and worked at odd jobs while traveling. He constructed a foundry in 1896 that is today Lodge Manufacturing. He built a house nearby and a member of his family still occupys that house.

Today, the company makes cast iron cookware, including pots, pans, Dutch ovens, and more.
