The original site had seating for only 75 persons, and in 1994 the club moved a few blocks down the street to a new location offering seating for 200. The club features a variety of bands and DJ’s, which change almost nightly, the majority of which play rock and roll. Bands that have played at this venue include Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Death Cab for Cutie, and many, many more.

The Casbah also has an outdoor patio, a game room with pool tables and pinball, along with a full bar. There is also a separate music room with its own bar. The Casbah has a 4.5 star rating on Yelp and has headquarters in San Diego, California.
