The company states that games and puzzles, designed by owner Dr. Ken Gibson, are designed to improve how the brain functions. The company has made many assertations in their marketing campaigns, including that their method can eliminate ADHD, and reverse diseases such as autism and Alzheimer’s. This controversial subject has been called pseudo-science by some, but praised by others in the scientific community.

LearningRX was challenged in court and agreed to stop making such claims unless they had double blind studies to prove their claims. They paid $200,000 of a $4 million fine.

Ally Bank also offers credit cards, lines of credit, and personal loans. The company is popular with those who are more interested in competitive rates, than in visiting branches.

Ally Bank also offers mobile banking via apps that operate on both IOS (Apple) devices and Android phones.

Keds Shoes was founded in 1916 when US Rubber decided to consolidate 16 different shoe manufacturers into one company. Although the company’s first name choice was Peds, when they discovered that name was already copyrighted, they switched to Keds. By the early 1920’s, Keds were the only shoes worn by Olympians, college athletes, and sports enthusiasts.

Sneakers, so called because the rubber sole was quiet and allowed people to “sneak” up on others, became extremely popular, especially with teenage and young girls. Keds have been worn and modeled by movie stars, such as Marilyn Monroe, Katharine Hepburn, Paul Newman, and Betty White, to name a few.

Keds is now owned by Wolverine World Wide. Estimated annual revenue in 2015 was $110 billion.

The company offers software products that offer customers an account aggregation service, whereby they can see all of their investments, emails, credit card statements, and more, all on one screen.

The company has headquarters in Redwood City, California, but also has offices in Bangalore, India, and the UK. Evestnet acquired the company in August of 2015 for $660 million.

Yodlee has more than 45 million users, 150 financial institutions and portals, including 5 of the world’s top 10 banks, as well as partners such as Money Dashboard and Thrive.
