In 2014, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Wells Fargo joined together to create clearXchange service. This company was a payment provider for person to person, business to customer, and government to consumer payments. This enabled clients to send and receive money between other entities and persons who had accounts at these banks.

Capital One and USA bank joined in 2016. The company was sold to Early Warning Services in early 2016. Zelle users can send money to other registered Zelle users. (They can also attempt to send money to unregistered recipients, in which case the intended recipient will receive an invitation to sign up for the service in order to complete the transaction.) Users access the network within the websites and apps of Zelle-participating U.S. financial institutions and through the Zelle mobile app. To register with the Zelle mobile app, users must enroll a supported MasterCard or Visa debit card issued in connection with a U.S. bank account.

History

Zelle announced third-quarter earnings in 2019 of $49 billion on more than 196 million transactions.

One woman claims that she was scammed for thousands through a Zelle account in late October 2019, which she didn’t open.

Zelle now works with PNC and Bank of America, due to the integration of The Clearing House RTP Network in February 2021

Headquarters for Zelle are located in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a young architect working with his father, Isadore Sharp, he created a motel for family travelers. The motel was such a success that Sharp purchased a lot in a run-down area of Toronto, Canada, and created a motel for business travelers, and in 1960, the Four Seasons Motor Hotel was in business.

Sharp began building more hotels in Canada, eventually moving on to London, where the company earned its reputation for being an upscale, luxury hotel. In 1997, the Four Seasons Hotel Austin was the first hotel to offer wireless internet services. Queen Elizabeth II stayed at the Fours Seasons Hotel Austin in 1991 when she was in the US.

History

The company has continued to add more hotels and resorts to its name, including one in China. The company now boasts more than 100 hotels and resorts around the world.

Four Seasons does not own any of its properties; it operates them on behalf of real estate owners and developers. The contracts between Four Seasons and property owners typically permit the company to participate in the design of the property and run it with nearly total control over every aspect of the operation.

The company generally earns three percent of the gross income and about five percent of the profits from the properties it operates, and the property owners are required to additionally contribute money for chain-wide sales, marketing and reservations systems.

In 2016, the Four Seasons remodeled and rebranded an old property in the Vietnamese city of Hoi An. This city has since become a popular destination for upscale travelers and other hotel brands are rushing to build hotels in this ancient city.

In November 2019, the company announced it would expand it’s hotel chain to include Baja California, Mexico, with a new resort in Cabo San Lucas. The resort is expected to open in 2022.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park

Michael Browning imagined a place where kids could play safely indoors while parents had space to work or relax. Urban Air Adventure Park was founded in 2011 in Grapevine, Texas.

From a single location, the company now has over 65 locations that feature climbing walls, warrior obstacle courses, tube playgrounds, ropes courses, trapezes, spinning-and-flipping bumper cars, and trampolines.

History

The company had $166 million in revenue in 2018 and CEO Browning says he expects to clear $2.5 million in profit. Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2018 list of the “Franchise 500” placed Urban Air at No. 97 based on growth, financial strength, and stability out of more than 1,000 entries in this year’s competition.

Urban Air books 700-1,000 birthday parties every day. In early November 2019, one 10-year-old attending a birthday party fell from a zip line ride, breaking several bones.

In 2022/2023, the company continues to open new locations at a rapid pace, including Saginaw, Michigan, Rockford, Illinois, and Long Island, New York.

The company has headquarters in Milltown, New Jersey.

Cook Out restaurant was founded in 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina by current owner Morris Reaves. The company operates a chain of burger restaurants in 10 states. Cook Out is family-owned, with Jeremy Reaves, son of founder Morris Reaves, working as CEO.

The company has 244 locations and continues to expand, opening two locations in Virginia in 2019. Cook Out serves the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and French fries, but uses a special North Carolina BBQ sauce.

History

Cook Out is not a franchise. In October 2019, the city of Greensboro was investigating a Cook Out location for possible illegal dumping when an employee was found to be washing greasy dishes and dumping the dirty wash water onto the ground near a local creek. The city notes that this particular location has been cited for similar violations in the past.

In November 2019, a North Carolina location refused service to a police officer and veteran. Both the cashier and the restaurant manager were fired by the District Manager.

One fan is insisting that Cook Out open another location in Mississippi.

The corporate office for Cook Out is still located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Tradesy Corporate Office

Tradesy was founded in 2012 by Tracy DiNunzio. DiNunzio wanted to sell some of her expensive accessories and found that there were very few options to do so. Tradesy is a peer to peer marketplace where sellers offer their pre-owned clothing and accessories.

Since 2009, she had been running Recycled Bride, a peer-to-peer resale marketplace where brides could buy and sell wedding dresses and accessories. She soon expanded her platform to women’s luxury fashion items. In 2019, the company began powering new third-party resale services via Rebag. Rebag introduced CLAIR (“Comprehensive Luxury Appraisal Index for Resale”) which provides sellers an immediate value of their bags.

In 2017, the company opened its first showroom on the ground floor of their corporate office building in Santa Monica, California.

In late 2019, the company acquired Fitz, an in-home service that helps women organize and make the most of the wardrobe, renaming the company Tradesy Closet Concierge.
