Doghead Fish Brewery was founded in Milton, Delaware, in 1995 by Sam Calagione. The company is known for its extreme beer flavors, including Verdi Verdi Good, a green beer that had a natural green color due to added spirulina.

The company has grown tremendously, by more than 400 percent between 2003 and 2006. It makes more than 175,000 barrels of beer each month. The name comes from a city in Maine, where Calagione spent his summers as a child.

Luxottica makes nearly all of the major brands of sunglasses that are sold in the world, including Ray Ban, Oakley, Chanel, and Prada sunglasses. The company continues to grow, with new locations being opened in Mexico and Central America in 2015 and 2016.

Roxy was founded in 1969 in Torquay, Australia. The company is a division of Quiksilver, which makes clothing, swimwear, and accessories for young women. The Roxy brand was introduced in 1990. Today, the company has headquarters in Huntington Beach, California.

Since being introduced, Roxy has become the largest action or sport fashion wear for young women in the US. The brand is designed to appeal mainly to young beach going women or the camping set. The company now also produces and sells wetsuits, fashion accessories, such as handbags and belts, surfboards, skis, footwear and perfume.

The parent company Quiksilver had some financial problems and filed for bankruptcy in 2015, but has emerged from chapter 11 in 2016, with Roxy clothing being their mainstay, rather than the Quiksilver line of men’s clothing.

Fashion Nova was founded in 2014 in Vernon, California, by current CEO Richard Saghian. The company runs a chain of eCommerce and stores offering women’s fashion clothing, coats, and shoes. Although very new, the company boasts more than 4 million Instagram followers in less than 1 year. The company is said to conquer the “thirst trap” with their ads on Instagram.

The company currently has a 180,000 square foot warehouse in Los Angeles, California, and 5 locations in the greater Los Angeles area. Unlike many other clothing brands, Fashion Nova sews their own jeans here in the USA. The company is best known for its sexy, Victoria Secret type models.

Fashion Nova clothing is often seen on celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose, and Blac Chyna. Although the company has already had more than 146 complaints on the website, they currently have a B rating with the Better Business Bureau.

The company was hit with a class-action lawsuit for sending unsolicited text messages to clients in late 2018.

In November 2019, Versace filed a lawsuit against Fashion Nova for copyright and trademark infringement after it appears that Fashion Nova copied the iconic J. Lo green dress called Jungle Print.

In August 2020, fashion company Chrome Hearts sued Fashion Nova for copyright infrigement after allegedly printing its Horseshoe trademark.

Fashion Nova is also being called out in August 2020 for selling “bike” shorts that leave the behind exposed.
