Cook Out Corporate Office

Cook Out restaurant was founded in 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina by current owner Morris Reaves. The company operates a chain of burger restaurants in 10 states. Cook Out is family-owned, with Jeremy Reaves, son of founder Morris Reaves, working as CEO.

The company has 244 locations and continues to expand, opening two locations in Virginia in 2019. Cook Out serves the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and French fries, but uses a special North Carolina BBQ sauce.

Cook Out is not a franchise. In October 2019, the city of Greensboro was investigating a Cook Out location for possible illegal dumping when an employee was found to be washing greasy dishes and dumping the dirty wash water onto the ground near a local creek. The city notes that this particular location has been cited for similar violations in the past.

In November 2019, a North Carolina location refused service to a police officer and veteran. Both the cashier and the restaurant manager were fired by the District Manager.

One fan is insisting that Cook Out open another location in Mississippi.

Tradesy was founded in 2012 by Tracy DiNunzio. DiNunzio wanted to sell some of her expensive accessories and found that there were very few options to do so. Tradesy is a peer to peer marketplace where sellers offer their pre-owned clothing and accessories.

Since 2009, she had been running Recycled Bride, a peer-to-peer resale marketplace where brides could buy and sell wedding dresses and accessories. She soon expanded her platform to women’s luxury fashion items. In 2019, the company began powering new third-party resale services via Rebag. Rebag introduced CLAIR (“Comprehensive Luxury Appraisal Index for Resale”) which provides sellers an immediate value of their bags.

Cheap Fare Guru is a travel meta-search engine that seeks out the best airline tickets for consumers. The company has a wide range of consumer complaints and accolades, with some stating the company was very helpful in resolving problems and others that claim their tickets were never issued and it was extremely difficult to get a refund.

The Better Business Bureau rates Cheap Fare Guru/Eros Tours with an F rating, saying that the company has a history of canceling tickets after credit cards have been charged and then not responding to refund requests. Requests from the BBB received no reply.

Art Van Furniture Corporate Office

Art Van Elslander founded his first furniture store in Detroit, Michigan, in 1959. Within one year, Elslander had opened 3 more locations but didn’t hire his first employee until the opening of his 4th store.
