Zumba Fitness Corporate Office

Zumba Fitness was founded in the 1990’s by choreographer and dancer Alberto “Beto” Perez in Cali, Columbia. The company offers classes, instructional DVD’s for a dance routine, including merengue and other Latin dances, designed to make physical fitness fun.

The company is now owned by Claudia Leitte, a Columbian pop singer. Classes are performed with variations around the world. Current CEO Alberto Perlman estimates that there are 14 million Zumba students in more than 186 countries. The company offers training classes fr instructors, DVD’s, shoes, athletic wear, and stickers.

Although Zumba does not charge for the use of their name, they do ask instructors to post their certificates in their classes. Headquarters are now located in Hallendale, Florida. The name “Zumba” has no real meaning, as Beto Perez admits he simply made up the name.

Wahoo’s Fish Taco Corporate Office

Wahoo’s Fish Taco was founded in Costa Mesa, California, by brothers, Ed and Mingo Lee, along with Wing Lam. The brothers are a Chinese / Brazilian mix. While on a trip through Mexico, they found that mixing Chinese spices with Mexican style food gave ordinary tacos a completely different twist.

When the first restaurant opened, the three men did all the work; taking an order, running to the kitchen to make it, then delivering it to the table and cleaning up afterwards. Today, Wahoo’s Fish Taco has approximately 64 locations in 7 states and one in Tokyo, Japan. The menu is geared towards healthier eating while still enjoying traditional favorites.

Wahoo’s Fish Taco is also known for their vegetarian and vegan menus, as well as a kid’s menu. Headquarters are located in Santa Ana, California.

Bark Busters Corporate Office

Bark Busters was founded in Australia in 1989 by Danny and Sylvia Wilson. The company operates a dog training service for problem dogs. Locations in the United States opened in 2000.

The company has international franchises in 7 countries, and is the largest dog training service in the US. The training program is humane and holistic, relying on communication ,rather than fear or treats. The company believes that humans need to learn to live with dogs and communicate in their language. Training includes a guarantee which is transferable to any country, even if the dog needs to be rehomed.

Bark Busters has received criticism for some of their training techniques, however, it also has received high praise from thousands of clients. Headquarters in the US are located in Englewood, Colorado.

Brake Masters Corporate Office

Brake Masters was founded in Phoenix, Arizona, by brothers Eric and Shalom Laytin in 1982. Originally named Auto Brakes, this pair of immigrants from Israel changed the name the following year to Brake Masters. In 1984, the brothers opened a second location.

A third location was opened in 1989. Franchising followed in 1994.

Today, the company has 89 stores in Arizona, Texas, California, Nevada, and New Mexico. The company specializes in brake repair and replacements but also performs other types of auto repair and maintenance, such as oil changes, front-end alignments, clutches, and batteries. The company only employs ASE-certified technicians, unlike many auto repair shops.

Brake Masters has partnered with Valvoline, Bendix, and Monroe.

Restaurant Business Magazine listed the company as #4 on this list of Fastest Growing Food Chains in 2010. Partnering with the Mexican theater chain CineMex, the company introduced their products in 2012. Red Mango plans to triple their expansion in the US in the next 3 years.

Red Mango is best known for using organic, all natural non-fat and low-fat, gluten free kosher products. The company offers frozen yogurt where customers can add toppings or blended smoothies and green juices.
