As of June of 2017, the oldest and most expensive book in the store is a signed copy of James Joyce “Ulysses”, priced at $38,000. Fred Bass estimates that the company has more than 2.5 million books at any given time. In addition to books, the company sells its logo on T-shirts, stickers, and other merchandise. The store is still family owned and operated.
