Carpeteria stores date back half a century, the company founded in 1960 in Santa Clarita by two brothers, Harold and Ted Haserjian. The company sells and installs flooring for business and residential customers.

At it’s peak the company had almost 60 locations throughout California and Nevada, many of them franchised. By 1999, however, the company was on the brink of bankruptcy, and sold most of its franchises to their respective owners. Today, the company has 5 locations throughout the Northern California area, most of them in the greater San Francisco area.

Carpeteria is best known for the giant 3-D like giant fiberglass Genies perched on top of rooftops, holding a rolled up carpet. The company has two large warehouses for distribution in the Greater Bay area and headquarters located in San Leandro, California.

Coni Reyes began Pampanga Foods out of her kitchen, selling traditional Filipino foods to local markets and other small vendors. The company was incorporated in 1994 and offers these same foods, only frozen, to a wide variety of distributors.

Today the company is the leading producer of packaged and frozen foods in the US and operates under the labels Pampanga, Cabalen, Mr. Swifts and private labels as well. Pampanga Foods are also sold internationally and via US Armed Force commissaries. In 2015 the company had an estimated annual revenue of $7.8 million.

Active Faith Sports began as a new direction for CEO Lanny Smith in 2010 after an injury left him unable to play professional sports. Smith decided to marry his faith and love of sports in a sports apparel and accessory business. The company designs and sells sports apparel with Christian faith-based and motivational messages and designs.

The company is currently on online retailer since the only Christian based stores that carried the merchandise went out of business. Active Faith manufactures T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, hats, sports bottle, wristbands, and performance tights for men, women, and youngsters.
