RepairPal customer complaints

RepairPal was founded in 2007 by David Sturtz after he realized that there was no price comparison app or rating app for car repair locations.

RepairPal can offer estimates for certain repairs (such as changing brake pads) after a client enters their vehicle information and zip code. It also offers the names of reputable repair shops if you aren’t sure where to take your car for repairs.

Clients can also keep a record of the repairs done to their vehicle and RepairPal approved shops can access this information, similar to the way Google Health operates.

Clients that have further questions can pay a small amount and chat live with an approved mechanic for a second opinion or other questions.

In August 2021, RepairPal partnered with BlueVine to provide funding solutions for repair shops that want to expand or add new technology but have trouble with traditional loans.

Consumer Reports also partnered with RepairPal in 2020 so consumers can feel confident about the shop they have selected for repairs.
