Co-workers Derek Brigham and Kyle Nakatsuji knew that they could create a better shopping experience for those seeking affordable car insurance using AI. ClearCover was born out of this idea.
With the average yearly cost of car insurance a whopping $1,100 and more than 13 percent of drivers simply going without due to the cost, it’s no wonder that ClearCover has become very popular.
The company doesn’t spend much on advertising, but word gets around. Currently, ClearCover can only find insurance companies in Arizona, California, Illinois, Ohio, and Utah, but it hopes to expand to all 50 states within 5 years.
Founded in Chicago, the company maintains its corporate office there as well.
