Stayed in Midvale Utah from 6/30/23 to 7/5/2023. We arrived to an actual dumpster fire ( as in the dumpster was on fire). Front desk staff is nice so was breakfast server. However, our stay was disrupted by construction. The first room they gave us smelled of smoke so bad we couldn’t even walk in. They did change us , but that put us literally in the middle of the construction zone. We were surrounded by wallpaper and carpet being torn down. There were tools and furniture all over and the smell of wall paper glue was terrible. There were no carts available for guests to use to bring up luggage or groceries because the construction crew was using them. There were many families at the hotel, but also a large number of people that were not family friendly. We witnessed drugs being sold in the parking lot, my car was hit by someone’s door being flung open ( I was in my car when she did it) and another guest honked and screamed at my daughter carrying my young granddaughter across the parking lot because she didn’t feel like she was walking fast enough. When we checked out there was a woman laying across done chairs right outside the hotel that may have been dead- she wasn’t moving and was in a contorted position. When I expressed concern to the front desk they gave me an 800 number to call. They are not able to do anything other than offer 1000 bonus points as a courtesy ( you need thousands of points for a room so 1,000 points won’t do anything) . The juice and soda machines were broken in the cafe area and when we asked for extra blankets they said they only had sheets. I was told there was a disclaimer that the hotel was under construction , but I booked months in advance and there was not a disclaimer at that time. I tried calling corporate office in Georgia as well as many other 800/888 numbers and I’m not able to reach anyone.

I am looking for name and number of whom I speak to about the staybridge suites in Colorado Springs Colorado located on NEW CAR DRIVE. Something has to be done about management and staff running this hotel. I have tried many times speaking to them about the problems and issues that has Occurred when we were staying there during the two months as well as the issues we are having even a week after our final day and check out.

Staybridge Suites in Oakbrook, Illinois has the Worst Service Ever! I am in shock and cannot believe what we just experienced at Staybridge Suites.
First, I made a reservation for a One Queen, 2 Double, 2 Bedroom Suite. This appeared to be the largest room on the website. We received a call telling us that due to renovations, the room we requested was no no longer available. We were offered 2 king suites as a replacement. We accepted and moved forward with our plans.
We made it to the hotel and stood at the desk waiting for the staff to figure out our rooms. After the longest wait we ever had, we finally got to our room, only to find that one of our rooms was not cleaned and the other one was not what we were told. The bed was unmade and trash was in one room on the tables.
I went to let the front desk staff know what had happened.
Ray Lakes, the general manager (unbelievable!) told us that what we told him we were promised was untrue because that’s not a common practice. I told him that we had no reason to lie. He said, they were going to do something for us. Ray spoke with the housekeeper to get the room clean. I was speaking with my friend about the situation. This was quiet conversation and no guests heard us. Ray, who was standing right in front of us, stated that he was trying to do something and we should stop talking about it. I stated that I was speaking with my friend and we were chatting amongst ourselves. Ray said he didn’t want us to ruin it for his other guests! This was shocking and I have never heard anyone tell a guest to be quiet so other customers don’t hear about their concerns. The other guests did not hear us at all!
While we were waiting, my friend asked Ray for his name. When he said his name, I wrote it down. Ray became irritated that I wrote his name down! He then told us that he would rather we leave the hotel! We stood there in shock because this has never happened before! He said he felt like a “domino effect” was going to happen and calls would be made to the company because I wrote his name down. I told him that was not a reason to put us out of the hotel. Ray Lake said, “I’m going to cancel your reservation for your own sake.” I was further confused and shocked! We went to get our things and came back to the front desk. I said, “I have never been put out of a hotel. I run a business and work with clients every day and would never treat anyone like this.” Ray stated that he was not putting us out because we were getting a refund. He said if we were put out, there wouldn’t be a refund. I told Ray this is the worst customer service I have ever seen and there was no reason for it. I told him the hotel should be ashamed. He said, “I won’t be insulted by you.” I was more confused. He took offense to everything I said. I told him I was going to record because I could not believe this. He said that was further reason for me to leave his hotel.
I asked Ray for the number to complete a customer service complaint. He said, “You can have my card and the number to this hotel.” I told him I did not want the number to the hotel and needed the number to the office above him. He told me to look it up! He told us to go stay at the Holiday Inn up the street!! He said he was going to make a call as well.
My friend started a conversation with the sales manager who was standing at the front desk. He told us his name (Scott). We asked Scott if this happens often and told him the issue. Ray walked over to Scott and told him to go do something else!
Ray printed the receipt, passed it to another person to give to me, and walked away. He never apologized.
As we walked out the door, Scott apologized for our experience and told us he hoped it would be better someone where else. Ray looked away as though we were not there. I cannot believe Ray is a GM!
We left Staybridge Suites in Oakbrook, Illinois and went to the Marriott which is also in Oakbrook. The check-in process was smooth, the staff was kind, and the rooms were clean. Thank you, Marriott! You never disappoint! I tried something new, and I will never do that again!

On Saturday, December 3rd, a block of rooms were reserved for a family wedding. I reserved a 2 bedroom-2 bath suite. Once I entered the room, I began to unpack. I placed my house slippers on as not to walk barefoot. I was emptying my suitcase and as I began to turn my slipper got caught by the bedframe which was sticking out. It caught my slipper strap and caused me to fall on my tailbone and I landed into the nightstand where the knob landed between my shoulder blades. Once I was able to get to my feet with assistance, I made it downstairs to the afternoon desk clerk who couldn’t write an incident report. I was referred to contact the manager, A…. Cousino. As I was checking out the next morning, I attempted to get another clerk to contact the manager and was told they were not coming in and was given Amanda’s card again. I was told by the clerks that they were sorry about the fall but were unable to do anything about it. I didn’t go to the hospital on the day of the incident because we had a lot of family in town and just thought I would be a little sore from the fall; however, day 3 and I am still in a lot of pain. I attempted to call the Corporate office and have been transferred around to no avail. I contacted the hotel again and the clerk in training stated that the manager is covering multiple shifts and they couldn’t tell me when she would be back into the hotel. I was told the general manager is no longer at the hotel.
I would like the corporate office to contact me.

My family and I stayed at the stay bridge in Tallahassee Florida. The breakfast cook ms. Lillian was very rude and targeted me not once but twice. First time I let it go. Remind you in Alabama where we’re from we have southern hospitality and respect. After she cussed at me the twice next I decided to confront her letting her know I was calling corporate on her. Then got her name from front desk and told them I was unhappy with disrespect. Just to be disrespected again by this lady. My family decided we should just leave early so at checkout front desk was rude not a word spoken I asked for a receipt. She said room number hands me a paper and that was it. Other than having rude employees everything else was fine. But we will never stay there again. It’s the employees for me!!!!!

The booking person was very nice, but the reservation he confirmed for me was not reserved when I contacted the hotel a week or so later. I stayed at the Staybridge Hotel in Tomball, Texas When I made a new reservation and arrived at the hotel, they had no reservation for me. When I tried to pay for two nights (June 28-29), they wouldn’t take my Discover Card. I don’t have any other card. The Hotel talked to my Discover Card company and come to find out that they, the hotel, didn’t take Discover. I had three cousins coming , for a reunion, so I had to use almost all the cash I had on hand until they got there with more cash. I was humiliated as these two nights were to be my treat. We finally got two rooms for two nights. One room was nice, the other room smelled of smoke so they changed rooms for two of us. I have stayed at Staybridge about 5 times, but NEVER again!!!

Once we got to the hotel it looked very promising because it looked new. When entering the hotel it looked like the staff should sweep or blow a lot of the dirt/debri from the entrance/parking lot. Windows should be cleaned. When going to the room you can see the corner of the wall needing repairs bc someone hit it. Carpets need to be cleaned. Along the hallway on Ground level all the corner moldings were taped.. Appliances and back of chairs need to be wiped. There was trash on the otherside of the bed near the window. We stayed in room G031. The kitchen table looked like a dog bit it. Carpet had a yellow spot. The staff does not go to deliver items such as towels/blankets/etc to your room if you can get ahold of them. This hotel is short on blankets. We asked for maid service to pick up trash and they did not due to staff being to busy. The reason my husband selected this hotel was for hot tub and swimming pool which where both broken (very cold). The shuffle board black disk is broken. I see this hotel being a 1 star within a year due to poor management not inspecting its property.

First of all, I booked my room on hotels.com. I came to the hotel prepared with my confirmation number. They said they could not find it… I had too many numbers. I pulled up the confirmation on the website, and they said they couldnt find it and basically scoffed at me for booking at hotels.com because they cannot find reservations from that website… I wondered to myself if they have ever reported this issue so it could be fixed because it turned into a hassle, and so they just put me in the room. Then, I was concerned that I would be charged twice because they did not book under my reservation.
Thankfully I was gone the majority of the first two days, but on the third day, a dog that sounded like a BIG dog, like a german shephard barked the entire day. I finally called, and they said oh, yes. The lady who is staying there must have left because that is the only time the dog barks.
That is completely unreasonable for the guests of a hotel to listen to that. If they are going to allow dogs, it needs to be enforced that a constantly barking dog cannot happen whether the guest is there or not. They let that dog bark for hours without doing anything. The dog was not even on my floor, so I cannot imagine the impact on guests nearby that room.
On 8/13/2020, I left a box prelabeled for fedex with the sweet young blonde at the front desk. She said her manager would be in shortly and she would tell her. I flew into Omaha on a private plane, so needed to send that separate, but used FEDEX so it would arrive quickly as I had a work presentation inside. When it did not arrive, I got concerned and checked the tracking info. It had never even been sent. I called the hotel in a panic as I have important items in that box – like my livelihood. The nice girl answered and said she knew the box and it was still there. She said no one knew who it belonged to (can no one search who the guests of the hotel are/were?? She said she would have this “manager Cassie” call me today. I get home after work, and no call. I call the hotel again, and the sweet girl tells me she was the one I gave the box to and she told her manager twice already that it was supposed to go out fedex. It is as simple as making a phone call for pickup. It is STILL THERE, and I asked CASSIE to call me tonight so she can understand how critically I need that box…. crickets. I travel all the time and have never had a similar problem. The presentation that I had been working on for the past week was in that box, so I had to completely do it all over again in one day because I did not have the box. It is nearly two weeks now sitting in the back room of a hotel which is outrageous. I do not know if this manager is lazy or just doesn’t care, but this needs to be rectified immediately. She is NEVER ever there. I have called 5 times and she is never there. ON 8/25, my secretary was back from vacation and able to give me the tracking number so I was able to call fedex on my own to ask them to pickup the package. I have still never heard anything from that hotel, and the staff has written a note, emailed, and texted Cassie to call me. Never happened. I will never ever stay there again.

I stayed at the Little Rock Med Center in July. I had RTE food shipped there as I have an extraordinarily strict diet for health reasons. There was a giant sign on the box that directed them to refrigerate it. Not only did it sit in the lobby and thaw, they never even tried to contact me, using my info, which was provided.
It’s been over 2 months and neither Ryan nor Katrice, whom I was told could help me, will reply to my emails. Apparently they’re the managers there, and choose to ignore me.
Because I couldn’t adhere to my diet I ended up in the hospital.
This juvenile and disrespectful behavior speaks volumes.
Apparently other people have had bad experiences too. What an awful
place.

Please contact me at717371XXXX. Just stayed at your new facility outside of Nashville. Very disappointed. I have pictures of some issues. The cleanliness we tried to get resolved, unsuccessfully. Furthermore the workmanship/finish work is not something I would be proud of if I owned the company. Whoever did the punch list must have done so with their eyes shut!
If you would like to see what I saw/experienced, please contact me
By the way…the reason we stayed was due to a stay in your hotel outside of Pittsburgh. It was GREAT! I have told many people what a nice facility you had. Now….not so sure.

My name is Robert Leone And I frequent a Staybridge in Franklin Wisconsin and was recently charged for a night at the hotel 1-17-2019 in which I was not a guest at the hotel. After multiple attempts to get the situation figured out with the bookkeeper by the name of Debbie we have been unable to correct the mistake. I was told there is no record of me staying there on the dates I was charged and Debbie is unable to tell me why my card was used. I do have a profile with the hotel and a card on file and I believe an error was made by a desk clerk entering the wrong info considering you need an I.D. And credit card to check in and I am in possession of both those things. I do stay at the hotel quite often and personally feel like more should be done to figure out the mistake and refund the charge of $118.65 to my account . There has been no sense of urgency and I do not appreciate that considering it’s my money being used without my consent. If you look at my records of staying at this particular Staybridge you will see i use the hotel often. That may have to change now due to the lack of effort that has been put in to this situation. I would appreciate somebody and something being done to rectify my complaint which is valid and to be taken serious. I hope to hear back from somebody promptly.
Thanks,
Robert Leone
