I just bought $73.49 of condiments for our company lunchroom last week at your Roseville store. My receipt is dated 9/1. When we started using some of the relish packets we noticed the box had an expiration date of 9/17/22, that’s 10 days from the date of purchase. I called the store and they said since it’s open I can’t return it – That I should have looked at the date. I work for a food distribution company and we would not sell something to a customer with a 10 day shelf life. But since it’s the “First Street” private label I guess it’s in Smart and Finals control. I think the right thing to do is to let me return the two boxes of relish packets (even the open box). The unopen box I bought is dated 10/7/22, I feel that is unacceptable also. Thinking items like packets of ketchup, mayo, mustard, and relish should be good for at least 3-4 months?

I’m Jorge I got a situation with one of your workers name rebeca at Glendale California in verdugo Jill she was really rude …the cash register #10 was broken so they told us to go to #1 so she let 3 ladies go but she blocked me and let the lady behind me to go wit the others so I told her that I was in there so she started with a rude attitude even the ladies told her that I was on the line but she insisted that I wasn’t so she cold somebody and the ass. Manag came and I ask for the manager and they told me that it wasn’t there ..even the other ladies told her to calm down she was really bad

Every time I shop and final I pay with a ckeck then they take my driver license then they tell me I have a invalid license I have a cdl class a license for over 30 years I shop at this store 2 time a week the same problem every time then I have to pay with a credit card for my items thy can’t get it fixed they just lost a customer that spends over a 1000 dollars a month in the store!!!!! Smart and final is a scam. The in Store price never matches the ad in the paper. I can understand it happening once in a while but it happens every time I go in. Usually with more than one item. And it’s not just me because other customer in front of me have had the same issue. Store number 316 on Vine street Riverside CA.
Every time I visit the location in Panorama City. Van Nuys & Arminta) there is no air conditioning in the store. The employees say that this is “normal” that the air conditioning hardly ever works. It has been 90+ degrees outside for weeks and it is actually hotter INSIDE the store. Please fix the air conditioning at this location. This is NOT okay!!!!!!! The employees should not have to work in those conditions.
