In the 1880s, Ivory soap was launched.

In 1911, Crisco was introduced.

In 1930, the company acquired Thomas Hedley Co.

In 1946, Tide was launched and Prell was introduced a year later.

In 1955, the company began to sell Crest, the first flouride toothpaste.

In 1957, the company acquired Charmin Paper Mills and entered the toilet paper business.

In 1961, the company released Pampers which went on to become the first successful disposable diaper.

Other acquisitions included Folgers Coffee, Old Spice, Pepto Bismol and Iams.

I was wondering why your extra soft charmin toilet paper is only 1/4 roll is extra soft and the rest of it 3/4 of the roll is regular toilet paper ? Which is probably giong to result in a class action suit as soon as the paperwork is processed.

After hearing on the news that you are raising prices to off set income. I can not understand the logic of your thinking. If you are being under sold and losing money. What makes you think that higher prices will make you more money. I have seen this fail for years and people are going the find the best price for there dollar. Wake up and you use your brains.

I’m Contacting You In Protest. You Choose To Advertise On FOX HANNITY. WHY? Charmin Portrays Such A Wholesome Product & Yet Chooses To Spend Its Dollars On HATEFILLED Hannity. I’m Boycotting All Proctor & Gamble Products Until You Stop. This Won’t Be Easy, As I Had Been Quite A Customer. Not Now.

I have used Ivory Liquid for over 20 years. Recently I noticed that the suds were not staying and that it takes ore and more of it hand wash my dishes. Has the formula changed? I loved the way it used to be. I use Tide and Prell as well and have for years. Just the Ivory Liquid is not like it used to be. I look forward to hearing back from you. At $3.29 per bottle and I always get two of them, it gets expensive.
    Thanks

Yes we’ve been buying your duracell batteries for years we always thought they were the best, we usually buy quite a lot thru the year, well we noticed that your AAA were leaking they have ruined a few flashlights and I don’t think this should be happening. Are these things now being made in china or where.? I’ve looked at other pages and see that I’m not the only one complaining about your batteries and I’d like to know WHAT YOUR GOING TO DO ABOUT IT??? Seems to me you should stand behind your product or people can go to other brands if you don’t care, but I think its pretty XXXXXty to let this happen and not do anything about it???? Thanks we’ll see if your concern is with making your customers happen or the almighty dollar??? Christine Reader

I am writing in frustration. I would hope that others have noticed what I have and are writing in too. I always buy my Charmin Ultra Soft from Sams Club Warehouse. I purchased a new multi pack yesterday and was quite frustrated at its size. You have shortened the rolls width by 3/4 inch. It looks like a RV roll of toilet paper. Pathetic. I know companies are short changing the consumer in hopes they don’t notice, but come on. Unfortunately, I have noticed this with many products. However, this is my first time writing about it. It’s too bad that they didn’t LOWER the price since they have short changed the product. Hopefully this gets to someone who can get it to the right people. Please know that we notice!!!!

What the heck kind of company is? Can’t reach a “normal” human being. I have been trying to reach Braun Oral-B and Proctor and Gamble for hours. Get nothing but a run around. Switchboard at PG is a joke. Ellie connected me the consumer relations 5 times and I was disconnected. Then I talked to her supervisor KIM who was more worthless than Ellie. I was only trying to find out which electric tooth brush matched with EB 15-3 brushes. Can’t ever get a normal answer.HUng up on from your consumer relations 5 times. DISCONNECTED!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE. I would share my complaint but do not follow twitter nor facebook. Only interested in purchasing a toothbrush. Just God AWFUL SERVICE>

Horrible awful and unhelpful. Please call me @ 954 563 **** Diane Thanks,

    Hi!
I was with UNZA, a leading toiletries manufacturer as a Sales Executive way back in 1987. When P&G launch the 2 in 1 shampoo in Thailand, most of your competitors in Malaysia started to think how to overcome this new shampoo. So when it was launch in Malaysia, as a competitor, I bought a bottle of anti dandruff 400ml to try out. It was something different and new then.
I’m now in the food industries. I write in to share/give some opinion. Everything seems to increase over the years, GST, inflation, currency going lower, pack sizes of most essential items also shrunk! I’m still using P & G shampoo, this time the Hair Control. I have a suggestion to P & G, that is, why not come up with a refill pack for hair shampoos? I don’t think there’s any brand out there with this hair shampoo refill, only bath/hand. This will not only save cost, it will also help in our environment to reduce plastic.
    Please do consider,
    Thank you.

My name is Mr. Vijaya XXXXaran and I am from Malaysia. I have wrote numerous letters to your customer service from website customer forum/facebook but I am extremely disappointed no one seem to write to reply my message. Even if this is a wrong forum at least the person who receive this message could have some courteous to convey this message to the right people for immediate attention, sadly no one seems to be doing just that.

I am just wondering what sort of customer service does P&G offers to customer complaints ? Does the person who has been reading all my message all these while have any idea that I have wrote numerous letters during the past six months but still there is no respond from you. Remember I have been going through this ordeal for “12 months” and your customer relations staffs are just ignoring all my mails, this is grossly unfair to me. Its a shame this sort treatment is coming from P & G, it is indeed appalling, I cannot believe this is what I get from a global company for a defective product .

I have also wrote to your CEO three months ago but till today he has not responded to my letter. I hope someone will come forward to talk to me soon as possible. Thank you.

I just finished watching your ad on YouTube and your advertizement in our Sunday clip coupons for Infusium 23 Use Miracle Therapy for women’s hair.

This ad showing the right side of a woman’s butt as she is walking through a business office is demeaning to women. Your company owes all women everywhere an apology for this shameful ad. I classify it XXXXXography as it can and will incite sexual advances to women, embarrassment, vulgar jokes, and God forbid that some “crazed sexual man” be prompted to rape women and or children. Is it not enough that our America is saturated with violence, killings, rapes, sodomy and so much evil. Your company is encouraging, especially the young people, that this is an acceptable way to show her butt and walk through a business office and use your product. Do your allow this practice to exist in your offices??

It is imperative that you “CLEAN UP THIS TYPE OF AD AND FIRE WHOEVER YOU ALLOW TO DO YOUR ADVERTIZING. Stop portraying women is this nakedness and tempting men or women to sin. I am going to share this ad with as many people as I can and encourage them to read YOUR labels like I will be doing…and if the label says Proctor and Gamble, THEN DON’T BUY IT.
I am forwarded a copy of this email to your headquarters. After all is said and done, it will probably be thrown in the trash…but at least I have tried to speak, I believe for most women.

Nothing dirtier in business than shrinking the size of a product. Been using Tide for over 30 years. No more. Now, convincing family and friends to avoid using P&G projects like the plague.

additionally, if it is at all helpful in identifying what caused this incident, on the right lateral top panel of the box side there is information regarding the origin which says:

    FABRICATED IN:
    (in large white cap text)
    CANADA
    3209478709121609

on the bottommost right corner in smaller black text is the number:
    96206110

other than these and the sku # I don’t believe this box has any other information which would help differentiate it from an entire palate.

    Faulty Bounce Dryer Sheets
    16 August, 2013

    To whom it may concern,

I have been using Bounce dryer sheets in my laundry since my first memory of helping my Mom & Dad do the laundry in our old house down in the basement. Bounce used to come in roll form back then (not sure if it still does). Bounce dryer sheets are the only fabric softener I have EVER used in my 30 years.
I love your product, and frequently find other applications outside of the dryer to utilize their benefits. I leave one under the driver seat of my car, one in suitcases both while traveling and when the suitcases are just being stored, one in the clothes & utility closet, I could go on for a while… but I digress.
Yesterday, 15 August, 2013 I was in Target in downtown Chicago at their location off Roosevelt & Clark Streets and proceeded to replenish my dwindling Bounce supply with a large box containing 240 sheets of as far as I can tell Bounce Original. No specialty fragrance or packaging apparent on the box as it is.
Last night I was going through the motions of daily chores which happened to include laundry. My new box got put to use straight away & like usual I used 2 sheets for a medium/large white load and I think 4 for a very large dark load that had some good Hermes Beach towels and a cotton bedspread from Frette I use in the summer months.
Though these are expensive furnishings, I like to have nice things that are practical and can be washed right along with everything else, and have never encountered any problems.
Last night, however, for a reason I genuinely don’t understand the new Bounce dryer sheets I had just purchased did NOT work at all.
Upon completion of the drying cycle all my clothes, expensive beach towels (3) and Frette duvet were all a horribly wrinkled statically charged disaster.
Needless to say, I am not happy, as the cotton in the towels particularly appears to be damaged. I rewashed with no detergent and put through a gentle dry cycle with a separate (bought just today) batch of bounce sheets, which worked great, like I expect. Regardless, I must tell you, the towels just don’t seem right. I have owned these towels since March 2010 when I bought them at Hermes in Paris, and have regularly used them on the beach and processed them through normal washing & drying cycles at least 10 times per year, and they always seem fine. This is no longer true.

the sku # from my defective Bounce bought yesterday at Target is 0 (far left of bar code) 37000037312 3(far right of bar code).

all 6 sheets were extracted from the crumpled electrically charged mess of towels, clothes & duvet, in relatively new looking form. they had been wrinkled some, but still had a silky feel to them as if only partially used.

I don’t know what you can offer me, as a lifetime loyal, and distressed consumer as compensation, but I want if nothing else this mess to not happen to any of your other, maybe less loyal customers.

Thank you for your time, consideration & attention.

    Regards,
