Heart Attack Grill has received numerous complaints, especially regarding the sexualization of “nurses” (waitreses).

The company had 3 locations at one time, however, after the spokesperson for the restaurant located in Chandler died at 29 years of age and 529 pounds, the restaurant was closed. The location in Dallas, Texas, also closed soon afterwards, with no explanation given. However, the one in Las Vegas is open. With 9,982 calorie burgers, and all you can eat French fries cooked in lard, the reason for the name of the restaurant is clear.

Heart Attack Grill uses controversy as their marketing strategy. Food is served by waitresses dressed as nurses in skimpy uniforms and those who weigh over 350 pounds can eat as much as they like for free.

Vitamin World was founded by Arthur Rudolph in 1960 in New York. The company operates a chain of vitamin and health supplement stores in the US.

The company is a subsidiary of NBYT, who manufactures and sells vitamins and supplement under the Puritan’s Pride, Vitamin World, and Holland & Barrett labels. Vitamin World also sells Herbal Authority and Precision Engineered brands. While Vitamin World used to be considered a discount store, new pricing policies implemented in 2007 has now put it in the slightly more expensive bracket. While the company has offered a regular buyer discount card, many customers were very unhappy with this dramatic increase in prices.

Oscar Mayer is often remembered due to their popular commercials in the 1960’s and early 1970’s, which featured a song that included the name, as well as the company’s ” Wienermobile”, which is a car with a huge hot dog perched on top. This item was also a toy offered inside packages of hot dogs in the 1960’s.

In June 2002, the company agreed to pay OSHA a fine of $211,000 following the death of a worker due to an ammonia release. The company also agreed to conduct a safety training of all employees.
