Rainbow Play Systems was founded in Minnesota in 1985 by Gregory Foster. The company manufactures and distributes wooden children’s outdoor playgrounds.

The company started off very small, but quickly became popular around the world for their old fashioned playground type of equipment which can include swings, ladders, rope climbing, and slides. Some plastic items, such as liners for slides, are made in China, but the majority of the equipment is made in South Dakota at a 1.3 million square foot factory. At its peak the company employed more than 500 persons and had several shifts, but today it has been downscaled to approximately 125 persons and 1 shift. President Obama had a Rainbow Play System installed at the White House for his daughters.

Rainbow Play Systems are sold at stores around the world, including Toys R Us and Amazon. Company headquarters remain in Brookings, South Dakota.

The company is best known for their fast shipping, as well as a “deal of the day” featured on their website. Gear Zone Tactical offers most major brands, including 5.11, BlackHawk, and Propper.

Gear Zone Tactical opened a second location in 2015 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Headquarters remain in Freeman, Missouri.

The company specializes in screen printing and embroidery, however, clothing may be purchased without imprints or designs. In 2015, printing services became available for small or large businesses, sports teams, school teams or projects, and family reunions, to name a few.

NYFifth Apparel has 15 warehouses across the US. The company prides itself on fast shipping anywhere in the continental US. Headquarters for the company remain in Fremont, California.

Gerace’s Pizzeria was founded by current owner and CEO Antonio Panetta in Goshen, Indiana, in 2010. The company operates an Italian food and pizza restaurant.

Panetta was part owner of Davincis before selling his share and deciding to open his own pizza restaurant. The company is known for the generous amount of toppings, as well as the authentic Italian sauce on each pizza. In addition to pizza, the company offers salads, pasta, and a special type of lasagna, made with hard boiled eggs and peas, the way it was made in Gerace, Italy. The restaurant is named for the town that Antonio grew up in. A picture of the church in Gerace, where the Panetta’s were married, is prominently displayed.

Gerace’s also offers catering, delivery, and take out service, but only via phone orders at this time. Online orders are currently unavailable.

Warrior Custom Golf was founded in 2005 by current owner and CEO Brendan Flaherty in Irvine, California. After paying a premium price for a bad set of golf clubs, Flaherty decided to start his own manufacturing company.

The company makes premium golf clubs at the plant in Irvine. Flaherty has stated that he employs more than 200 persons year round, and more when with seasonal demands. In addition to clubs, the company has recently begun to purchase golf courses around the country. Rather than focus on large courses in popular areas, the company looks for smaller courses that the average golfer will play, even if the economy isn’t in the best shape. Within a two year period, the company brought together investors to purchase 6 courses.

Warrior Custom Golf feels that it can bring in new clients by offering a free set of Warrior Clubs with the purchase of a yearly membership. The company is looking to buy two more properties in 2017 and even more in the following years.
