Hopper Building Supply still maintains headquarters in Lowell, Indiana. Sales rep’s are available to meet with contractors and clients at their job site if they wish.

The company enables users to discover and shop for things in fashion, beauty, and home décor sectors, while providing services in the categories of outfits, clothing, dresses, shoes, accessories, and home decor. Users can offer their ideas (known as sets) from other companies or websites, or offer their own creations and products. As of 2016, the company boasts 20 million users, with 130 million unique products, more than 3 million clothing outfit “sets”, and an average sale per person of $383.

Polyvore states that their most popular designer of 2016 was Gucci, but their most popular beauty brand was MAC Cosmetics. Company headquarters are located in Mountainview, California. After the acquisition by Yahoo, CEO Jess Lee stated that she would be leaving her post, but the company has yet to name a new executive team.

Family Fare was founded in 1966 in Hudsonville, Michigan. The company operates a small chain of grocery stores in Michigan and 4 other states. As of 1990, the company operates as a subsidiary of SpartanNash.

History

In 2004, SpartanNash began to consolidate stores under two names, Family Fare and Glen’s Markets. Family Fare began expanding their brand via the acquisition of other stores, including Great Day Markets, Prevo’s Markets, and D&W Fresh Markets. Even some Glen’s Markets were later rebranded to the Family Fare name.

The company is well known for acquiring older store locations, remodeling them to include new pharmacies, updated fixtures, and adding touches such as in-store Starbucks or other cafes.

The company has been expanding slowly throughout North Dakota by acquiring and rebranding Econofoods and Sunmart stores.

In March 2023, parent company SpartanNash will rebrand all Gordy’s markets to the Family Fare brand. It is unknown if there are plans to rename other brands, such as Sunmart or Econofoods.

Family Fare has headquarters located in Hudsonville, Michigan.

Anchor Bar was founded in 1936 by Dominic and Teressa Bellisimo. The company operated a typical bar/restaurant until one day in 1964, Teressa was asked to make something to eat for visiting friends. The only food left were chicken wings, which Teressa usually made into soup, but that night she made a special sauce to serve over her friend wings, and the Buffalo Chicken Wing was an overnight success.

Today, the company has begun franchising and currently has 10 locations. The original Buffalo, New York, location is still in business, selling their now famous wings, a variety of sauces, as well as apparel, accessories, such as key chains, and bottled sauces. The company is actively looking for more franchises to expand their business.

Anchor Bar is still located in Buffalo, New York, and offers 5 different flavored sauces. There is an active eCommerce site where sauce can be purchased by table top sized bottles or by the gallon.
