Ingersoll Rand Corporate Office

Ingersoll Rand was founded in 1871 in New York, New York, originally as Ingersoll Rock Drill Company. The company later employed brothers Addison and Jasper Rand, and in 1905, formed the Ingersol Rand Company.

The company is a global manufacturer of tools, air conditioning equipment, air compressors, pumps, home automation, and transportation refrigeration units. Ingersoll Rand operates numerous subsidiaries, including ARO, Club Car, Nexiaa, GHH Rand, Thermo King, Trane, and Cameron International Compression Systems, to name a few.

In November 2022, Ingersoll Rand stated that it would provide up to $100,000 to support a bilingual preschool  La Escuelita Bilingual. 

In January 2023, the company acquired SPX Flow Air Treatment business for $525 million.

Amsoil Corporate Office

Amsoil was founded in 1972 in Superior, Wisconsin, by current CEO Albert J. Amatuzio, a former pilot. Amatuzio began doing research in the 1960’s regarding synthetic oils for motors and has developed a special blend for numerous applications.

Today, the company sells a wide range of synthetic motor oils for a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles. Amsoil uses multi-level marketing to distribute its product. In addition to oil, the company also offers fuel additives and filtration systems, such as oil filters and gasoline filters.

All products are made at the Amsoil factory in Superior and shipped worldwide. The company sells its products via independent dealers, who deal directly with their customers via multi-level marketing. As of 2015, the company had approximately 315 full time employees.
