I have had the same problems. This is some type of retirement scam going on.
they tell you to call Milliam and then they make you go through 20 minutes of advertising, but you can never speak to anyone.
Then I was given an email address that does not work.
They have locked your pension and will not let you have access to this.
I filling with the federal government this is illegal.
I am sick and trying to get a cash buyout for my pension, but they refuse to discuss with me.

Are you surprised it’s by far the worst company you could ever work for.

We had a new American Standard air conditioner installed in our house in June, 2019. Last week, when the AC unit was just a little over one year old and therefore out of warranty for labor, the unit stopped cooling. Apparently, the coil had developed substantial leaks causing a loss of all the refrigerant. Even though the coil was still under warranty, it still cost me almost $500 in labor (two separate visits) to replace the coil and refrigerant and get the one year old unit working again. I have never had an air conditioner problem like this before and I apparently have no recourse. I find the lack of quality control in your products to be inexcusable and entirely unacceptable.

We had a Trane installed in our house in Naples Fl three years ago. This Trane AC unit has been repaired more than fifteen times in three years. We were told this is normal and not outside the range for replacement. The latest was out AC was not and is not keeping up with the temperature as much as 5 degrees once the outside temperature reaches over 95 degrees, again we were told this is normal. After weeks of calling and complaining some one came out to the house and nothing is wrong with the unit. Last week while we were away and a friend recovering from a health issue was staying at our house the unit completely shut off. Technician came out and said the unit is fine and working normal and just needed the breaker reset. Please help prior to us filing a local civil complaint with our municipality.

We purchased two TRANE HVAC systems, paid over $12,000 for both and have had serious problems with the Unit that cools the 2nd floor. We paid over $230.00 to just have a TRANE technician come out to diagnose the problem. He told us that we lost freon gas from the system because two copper lines were so close together that they abraded each other to cause a hole to form in the main line which was the cause of the freon leak. The technician said that the vibration of the unit probably caused the two lines to rub agains each other to cause the hole to form. I took pictures and can document the marks of abrasion. I was told that it would cost over $1,000.00 to fix the problem ($785.00 to fix the problem on top of the 230.00 already paid to W A Tolbard, the TRANE dealer to diagnose the failure. They are located in Frederick, MD from whom I originally purchased the Unit. After inspecting the system, I could not believe that any proficient design engineer would place two lines so close together that they would abrade each other. A simple plastic separator or insulated line could have easily and cheaply mitigated or corrected this engineering design flaw. I worked for over 40 years identifying HFE design flaws in electrical, mechanical, chemical and nuclear systems and I can tell you that this was a poor and inadequate design which led to this system failure. After checking with several TRANE technicians, I discovered that this problem was known to exist by TRANE and that several fixes were made to the newer systems but that no recall was conducted due to the high cost involved to retrofit the units that had already been sold. TRANE cannot claim that this failure was ‘unforseeable’. I have retained an attorney to assist me in recovering the cost to repair this faulty system and I plan to contact a 20/20 associate producer to examine this issue to determine if it might be interesting or newsworthy for TV. If anyone else has experienced this problem, please contact me at 301-524-XXXX or e-mail me at bbanksori@ earthlin.net
Thankyou for your interest. I just hope that TRANE will do the right thing regarding this system failure and compensate their customers who had to pay to correct it.
Sincerely,
William W. Banks

We called one of your distributos in Florida and he came back to us to advise that this shows as discountinued. My question is is there a replacing unit for this cooler? What should we do. Our clients urgently needs this part and wants answers.

Has anyone had any problems with their Trane thermostat. Ingersoll-Rand is the parent company for Trane? We had problems with our thermostat because of a nexia app on my phone having a software update that malfunctioned in some way. . Trane is the parent company for Nexia. There was a software update causing excessive heating in our home while we weren’t there causing my electric bills to be very very high. This happened in January 2018 as well as January 2019
I have been back-and-forth with train customer relations and getting nowhere.they want to offer me a one time Goodwill gesture of $30 for the inconvenience . I am not sure where to turn. Any suggestions?

My husband and I purchased a Trane AC unit about two weeks ago to cool the upstairs portion of our home. We had the installers out four times to correct various problems with the unit. At this writing, the thermostat is set at 75 degrees and now it registers 82 degrees, last night it was up to 85. Outside temperature is in the 90’s
We want to return this with the price of the unit and installation charges paid for.

To whom it may concern , We are hearing that you have discontinued selling the S66H1-78U socket? and I would like to inquire how the company I work for could continue to purchase this socket?
We do purchase three other sockets along with the S66H1-78U that we send as part of a tool kit that we send with our machines we build.
Looking forward to hearing from you as to how we could continue to purchase the S66H1-78U socket.
Thank you for your time.
