Conrad Hotels and Resorts Corporate Office

Conrad Hotels and Resorts was founded in 1985 by the son of Conrad Hilton, Barron Hilton. Hilton Hotels, separate at the time from Hilton International, was unable to build hotels outside the US using the Hilton name. The creation of a new chain, Conrad Hotels, solved this problem.

Conrad Hotels are the luxury wing of the Hilton brand. Former Vista Hotel names have been abandoned for the Conrad brand. The company has 34 hotels abroad, including Dubai, Mexico, Philippines, Maldives, and Japan. The company has 14 new hotels under construction in both the US and abroad, including Washington, D.C., Bangalore, India, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the Fiji Islands, with a total of 42 hotels as of 2021.

The company operates as a subsidiary of Hilton World Wide. Forbes Travel Guide listed the Conrad Macao, Cotai Central, as a new Forbes Travel Guide ‘Five-Star’ hotel. This is the only Conrad Hotel in the world to receive a Five-Star official Star Rating by Forbes Travel Guide.

Fisherman’s Cove Resort was founded in 1956 in Republic, Washington, near Curlew Lake and the Canadian border. The company operates a hotel and resort for tourists.

The resort is located in the old gold mining town of Republic, Washington. Nearby Curlew Lake offers fishing, swimming, and boat excursions in the summer. Winter months offer cross country skiing and snowmobile trips. There are numerous attractions nearby, including Grand Coulee Dam, Boot Hill Fossil Digs, a Native American arts and gallery museum, and the International Discovery Route, just to name a few.

Homestead Suites Corporate Office

The Fairmont Hotel Corporate Office

The Fairmont Hotel was opened in 1907 in San Francisco, California. The hotel is named after the Senator James Grand Fir, by his daughters, who built the hotel in his honor. The hotel was scheduled to open in 1906, but was damaged in the infamous earthquake.

Today, the Fairmont Hotel is owned by the Mirae Asset Global Investment group of South Korea. The hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel, with 3 restaurants, more than 500 rooms and 11 suites. The Venetian Room is where Tony Bennett first sang his hit song “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” in 1961.

In 2002, the hotel was listed in the National Register of Historic Places and as a San Francisco Dedicated Landmark in 1987. Company headquarters remain at the hotel on Mason Street in San Francisco, California.

Holiday House Corporate Office

Holiday House was founded in Palm Springs, California, in 1951 by Lloyd Whaley. Designed by Herbert Burns, the hotel was designed to be more of a family home, rather than a hotel. The building has been sold several times and changed names, the most recnetly being in 2016 to current owners Jeff Brock and Richard Crissman, who also own the Sparrows Hotel. The rooms has been remodeled and the hotel has to its original name of Holiday House.

The hotel has 28 rooms and suites. None of the rooms have phones or televisions, but wifi is available. The hotel rents only to those 21 and older and is small pet friendly. There is a heated saline pool, a game room, and a restaurant that is available only for hotel guests and room service. The focus of the hotel is on art and tranquility.

Holiday House is sometimes referred to as a “boutique” hotel, due to the artwork and sculptures found in the rooms and the grounds. The hotel is a short 10 minute ride from the airport.
