The company has more than 56 locations in 15 states and has more than 1,200 employees. The company opened one location in Canada, and another in London, England, in 2012.

Eileen Fisher clothing and shoes focus on sustainability, with most of the clothing being made from organic cotton. Although the majority of the clothing is made in China, 35% is made in the USA. The company offers a $5 gift certificate for every used clothing item donated to the company. These items are laundered and resold, with the profit funding business programs for women.

Eat ‘N Park was founded in 1949 by Larry Hatch and Bill Peters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Impressed by what they saw at a Big Boy Drive In operation, Hatch and Peters made a 25 year contract with Big Boy to operate a chain of drive in restaurants called Eat ‘N Park. The original drive-in had 13 stalls for cars and 10 carhops.

Today, Eat ‘N Park has more than 75 locations in 3 states and has more than 8,000 full time employees. The company is also attempting to offer more upscale dining areas in some of their newer locations. A bakery was added to new locations after 1986 and the company began to advertise this using a Smiley Face cookie.

The company has been involved in several lawsuits over their right to the Smiley Face cookie, including rival King Family Restaurants, who launched a Frownie Brownie to their menu. Eat ‘N Park is one of the only fast food restaurants to offer an ATM at each location, even though they accept debit and credit cards.

Originally called The Green Shoe Company, Mr. Green sold his half of the business to Slosberg a few years later. In 1966, Green Shoe adopted the Stride Rite name to emphasize their biggest selling product, infants and childrens shoes.

The company acquired The Keds brand and Sperry shoe names in 1979. Today, Wolverine WorldWide owns Keds, Payless, Sperry, and Stride Rite shoes, acquiring them in 2012 for $1.23 billion.

Lansky Brothers was founded in1946 when Samuel Lansky purchased a store for his two sons, Guy and Bernard, in Memphis Tennessee. The store originally sold Army Surplus items and clothing, but Bernard in particular, wanted to shake up the Memphis area with flashier, more stylish clothing.

The company is most famous for dressing and designing clothing for Elvis Presley. Other stars also shopped at the company, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins. Bernard Lansky picked out the blue and white suit that Elvis wore to his grave.

Today, the company still offers a wide variety of men’s clothing, including rock and roll memorabilia type clothing and Elvis inspired accessories and T-shirts. The company moved from their original Beale Street location into the Peabody Hotel.

The company offers more than 100 styles of glasses, with more being introduced every year, in 100 countries, with an average price of $240 a pair. All Maui Jim sunglasses block 99% of the sun’s glare and 100% of the harmful UV rays. Forbes Magazine listed Maui Jim sunglasses on their list of “100 Things Worth Every Single Penny.”

The company has its main headquarters in Peoria, Illinois, but maintains its “home base” in Hawaii. Sunglasses are manufactured in Illinois for shipment around the world. All repairs are done at the Illinois plant as well. Maui Jim glasses are marketed to those who want the best in life and care about their vision.

In August 2022, a federal grand jury indicted a former employee with mail and wire fraud involving the theft of sunglass parts.
