Sedano’s Supermarket, more commonly called Sedano’s, was founded in 1962 by Rene Sedano in Hialeah, Florida. After a few years, Mr. Sedano decided to return to Cuba, selling his store to Armando Guerra, who decided to keep the store name.

Pancho Villa Taqueria was founded in 1981 in San Francisco, California, by the Espinoza brothers. The company operates a small chain of no frills Mexican restaurants in the greater San Francisco area.

The company is known for its no frills, but flavorful foods that are made from genuine Mexican recipes passed on to the Espinoza family. Tortillas, salsa, and other food items are made fresh daily. The company started with a small restaurant on 16th Street, just a few steps away from Mission Dolores. Today, they have expanded to 4 locations.

Pancho Villa Taqueria is still owned and operated by the Espinoza family. Headquarters remain near Mission Dolores in San Francisco. The company currently has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
