Untuckit was founded by Chris Riccobono in 2010 in New Jersey. While working for GE Healthcare, Riccobono realized that men’s dress shirts looked terrible when untucked. He and friend Aaron Sanandres, designed shirts that would still look neat, especially when worn under a blazer, and acceptable in a business environment.

The company sold more than 6,000 hats alone during its first 5 years of business. LuLaRoe was founded in 2012 in Corona, California, by husband and wife team Mark and DeAnne Stidham. Mother of 7, DeAnne wanted clothing that was soft, comfortable, and didn’t show off those extra baby pounds.

Today, LuLaRoe is a huge fashion hit on social media sites. The company makes each design by hand and prints no more than 2,500 of any one print, so chances are very unlikely that clients will see someone else wearing the same print. The company makes women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing. They are best known for leggings called ‘Buttery Soft”. The company sells only via their “Fashion Consultants”, known to everyone else as Multi-Level Marketing.

The company has been hit with numerous complaints lately, especially about their most popular leggings. Complaints are generally that the leggings rip apart after only 1 or two washings. Currently, LuLaRoe has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau due to these complaints.
