It’s becoming increasingly frustrating as no one seems to pick up the phone at your corporate number, and my emails have gone unanswered repeatedly. I’ve reached out three times now, and the lack of response is truly disappointing. I’m left wondering who is managing the email division, as this level of unresponsiveness is simply unacceptable. It’s starting to feel like a joke. I bought giftcards at costco and theres noway to redeem them in app.

I would appreciate of your CEO gets this email.
Dear Mr. Duenas,
I went to your drive through at your Franklin TN branch at approx. 11 am today Dec 17th to order two Brisket sandwiches.
When I arrived at the window to pay for my order, your cashier asked me if it was $10. I could have said yes but I told him that was not the amount as it should have been $18.82 or close to that. He was unaware of the amount because they were all hanging out instead of working.
I then witnessed one of your employees, sneeze on the back of her hand and continued making drinks etc. How absolutely horrified I was to witness this. Sneezing on your hand and continuing to work in the food industry, not taking the time to wash your hands to prepare food and beverages? Especially with all the. Many viruses taking place?
Low and behold when I reached home to have my sandwich, I could not taste any brisket, so I opened the sandwich and to my amazement there was one tiny scrap piece of brisket on the sandwich. I asked my daughter to open her sandwich and it was the same with hers. Last week when I ordered the same said sandwich, I noticed it was the same thing. Is this the new practice with your company? Is it now as a switch with scraps?
I do not understand how your employees treat your business as a hangout joint, instead of a professional work environment. Everyone there today was hanging out, laughing with each other and NOT paying any attention to your customers, hence all the issues here.
You may want to pull the video camera from today and take a look at it. It will prove my various points I am taking the time to bring to your attention.
I look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

I have tried to visit your location at Quincey and Parker at 1:30P several times in the last 30 days only to find the employees inside with the door locked. The drive thru was also non responsive. The hours posted that they are open until 2 but more often than not they are closed at 1:15-1:30. Bad service.

We love Einstein’s, however our local store at 1919 S. Gilbert Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204, is absolutely disgusting and they don’t care one bit about their customers’ experiences. This location has been going downhill for the past 3-years. When I went this morning 7:15, as always the outside patio was disgusting. The garbage was overflowing so it obviously wasn’t dumped at end of shift the day before, or that morning. The spills are caked on the tables, chairs, and ground, from lack of ever cleaning. One spill on top of another spill, on top of another spill. The front doors are in terrible condition and going so horribly it makes your skin crawl. There was a pink rug flung in front of the door and doubled over, so you tripped on it on the way in. Not one of the employees bothered to go out and move the tripping hazard even after they had been open for a while. When I called to complain and ask if they were going to do anything about how terrible the conditions have become there, the shift supervisor “Eric”, hung the phone up on me. Apparently he doesn’t have time or care about loyal customers who come every week. This place is an embarrassment to the Einstein and Panera brand, they should be ashamed of themselves.

My husband and I have had multiple issues with the two Einstein’s in our town. We’ve complained in decent professional tones which somehow escalates into a yelling match because the managers are so rude. They tell us that we are rude for saying their food isn’t cooked but I think telling someone that you’re going to kick their ass and you don’t care about that wheelchair should be a firable offense. Managers have to deal with customer complaints all the time I get it. But professionalism should always be maintained. I can’t believe your manager just told my husband he’s going to kick his wheelchair ass for using words to complain about the poor quality of food. If he threw something or threatened someone I might understand, but none of this was done. We keep trying to come back because the food used to be good. We’ll never be back. I can’t believe you allow your managers to get away with speaking and treating their customers this way.

I am absolutely Faber gasketed by the demeanor of the general manager for your store number 1683 I ordered three bagels with egg whites and avocado and I had already been waiting for 25 minutes and when I asked him when they were going to be ready he said it’s going to be another 20 to 25 minutes you had like 20 people standing in there it was a circus and I had put a tip on there and when I asked for a refund he refused to give me back my tip and I said well then for the three dollar tip that I gave you why don’t you give me a couple of those bagels and he said no if you don’t like it go ahead and call corporate that’s what you have is a general manager behaving that way you have lost our companies corporations business for life very disappointed and also on the Einstein‘s corporate website the phone number you have listed is not a valid phone number call very very disappointing
Tammy Robinson says
We called the number today and it is a good phone number. Be sure to add a 1 before the area code if you don’t live in the 303 area.

I want an executive officer to call me ASAP. The first time I complained was two year ago and never got a response. I avoided your establishment for two years and made the mistake of going back recently, only to be faced with the same issues again. I called and complained, but no one has called me back. Its been a couple of weeks. I call back and get the same run around from all your customer nonservice. The lies that they do tell!!! Your employees are inept and insulting! How dare your manager speak to me in the manner he did! Do you want to go out of business? As far as I can tell from the reviews i have been reading, your well on your way. I am really irate with regards to the way I have been treated and incensed by your lack of concern.
Kyle Anthony says
They may never call you. I’m in the same boat. Absolutely horrid experience and no response.

Mr. Frank G. Paci, President & CEO
555 Zang Street
Suite 300
Lakewood, CO 80228
Dear Mr. Paci:
I am writing this letter because of an experience I just had with you bagel establishment located at 9929 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach, Florida.
I went to this location with an elderly lady friend of mine. We each ordered the smear bagel with cream cheese. We also ordered 1 medium coffee with an extra cup because she doesn’t drink that much coffee. They charged us $2.29 for an extra cup. We were willing to pay for the empty cup but they charged us for a cup of coffee. When we realized what they did, we had them take the amount off the bill. Jessica then asked, “Do you want a water cup?” We said sure. Went to our table and I poured about a 1/4 cup of the coffee into the water cup. We started eating and 10 minutes later Jessica came to our table and told us we were stealing because we used the water cup and poured coffee into it. Water cups have to be used for water and not used to share the coffee. She said,” we could either buy another cup of coffee or we would be kicked out and banished from Einstein.” She then had some guy from the back come out and told us what we were doing was stealing by using a water cup to pour 1/4 cup of coffee in it. He wouldn’t give me his name because he said he didn’t work there. I did take a picture of him. The elderly lady I was with purchased another empty cup for $2.39 plus tax.
I did tell them I would be writing to you and they said, “Go ahead, he will agree with us.” If this is the way you are running your business, I will never go to another Einstein Bros. again and I would never recommend it to anyone. If you have an email address I would be happy to send you a copy of the picture I took of both Jessica and the guy with no name.
Also, the checkout counter was very sticky. I mentioned that they needed to wipe it down. I was pretty much told to mind my own business. I did attach a copy of a picture of Jessica and the guy with no name behind the register.
I have posted my comments on Facebook as well.

Why can you not get an answer on your corporate number what a way to run a company? I have been to the Maitland Florida location 3 times to pick up chocolate chip bagels at about 12:00 noon they are always out. I have to drive about 5 miles to the next store to get them.. Yesterday when I went one more time Anne waited on me. She was most rude and had a really attitude when I asked her why they never have them at lunch. I got some plain bagels and she actually took orders from folks behine me as I waited with cash in hand to pay. When I walked back closer to her she yelled I’ll get to you. I asked for the manager and she said she was but her name tag said team leader. I asked for a card to call corporate and se gave me a card with Phyllis Tylers name on it. Later when I called the number guess who answered you got it Anne and your corporate office number doesn’t answer either with this kind of NO SERVICE I can see why. I wish Panera had chocolate chip bagels. Your location in Maitland is horrible, you should have employees go to customer service classes. No wonder Panera is packed and you can’t even stock bagels at lunch time.

Your Vero Beach store is terrific. The staff are always pleasant and happy. The food is always fresh and delicious. Yesterday I watched the manager, Sarah, handle a particularly nasty individual… who, incidentally, is a ‘regular’… Sarah was kind, pleasant and conciliatory to this obnoxious lout, who complains and causes a scene every time he comes to the store. I have never seen her lose her temper with this man regardless of how rude and belligerent he behaves. You should be proud of your manager and commend her for a job well done!

Your Mervyn’s coffee has gotten so WEAK at 2 locations..Plantation and Coral Springs, Florida that I have no need in visiting any longer. I gave 2 attempts and this coffee is the reason I go to your stores….no longer.
To make it worse..yesterday I tried the Crispy Chicken with egg sandwich….a tasty sandwich it was…but your CRISPY CHICKEN was gooey and cold in hot egg sandwich. What a mess…..that was the worst!!! If the chicken had been crispy, it might have been excellent

I am horrified over my experience with the Einstein Brothers Bagels on SW College Street in Portland, OR.
I called the main customer service number when my order was 5 minutes late. The rep called the manager, Abby, and said that Abby texted the delivery person. He was on the property, but in a different building. I said I would stay on the line until the delivery driver called me at the phone number I provided in the event that he got lost. 15 minutes later, I am still on the phone, and no phone call from the driver. My order is now 30 minutes late, and I am behind schedule. I called Abby and said that if my guests arrived before the food did, I wanted the order comped. Her attitude was that there was nothing she could do. I asked her to contact him and ask him again to call me. No phone call. By this time, my guests have arrived, I’m late picking up other orders because I’ve been entangled in the case of the missing delivery driver, and people are starting to ask questions.
I went on a hunt. After a few minutes, I see someone carting an Einstein Brothers bag. I got his attention and asked to see the invoice. I pointed to my name and number and said there was no excuse for not calling when he got lost. I told him that I was behind schedule now and wanted to talk to their manager. When I asked how long he had been on campus, he replied “30 minutes.”
I did not hear from Abby.

The closest Einstein Bros Bagels to me is the Coral Springs location at 2465 N University Dr ,Coral Springs, FL 33065, (954) 341-6505.
I have been there on several occasions and I always have the same experience and it is never good.
I usually visit on Saturday or Sunday somewhere around 1pm.
This location is so poorly managed and not clean and the service is extremely slooooowww.
You can always hear the staff in the back laughing loudly while the front has customers and the counters and floors are filthy. Not to mention the fact that, they are always out of Plain bagels. Really??? I would imagine that that is the staple. Why would they be out of Plain Bagels? Also, the bagels are so well done they are tough to chew.
Saturday I ordered a cinnamon raisin toasted with honey butter, and a sesame Not Toasted with plain cream cheese. What I received was a cinnamon raisin toasted with some kind of cream cheese and a sesame not toasted with you couldn’t even tell there was any cream cheese and there was some foreign cream cheese on it from the counter. Made me want to puke! And it took 20 min for them to get the order wrong when it was NOT busy at all. When I complained, there were a few other patrons that said the same thing, They are extremely slow and never get the order right.
So to recap:
1. Bad Experience
2. Poorly managed
3. Always out of bagels (not just plain) by 1pm
4. Way too slow
5. Can’t get the orders right
6. Dirty counters and floors
All this adds up to I will not be going there anymore. I will go to Brooklyn Water Bagel right down the block from now on.
Thank you,
Joanne Rossi
an extremely disgusted former patron

Your website is completely broken. Half the links don’t work, on my phone or laptop That’s not what I’m here for though.
Your website won’t let me sign up for the Shmear Society, because it says every single time that literally not ONE zip code from my state is valid. How does that even make sense?
Albert Person says
Your website has been broken for MONTHS! Please fire your entire web team and hire some competent people. I absolutely LOVE Einstein Bagels but you seem to run the company like a bunch of overweight frat bros that are too busy chasing tail or whatever. I’m going to assume that the CEO, COO, and CIO went to USC (University of Spoiled Children) that received an inheritance from mommy and daddy and are possibly at this moment drinking Lite beer out on a rundown golf course touting about their college days, etc. I drove 20 miles this morning to a location that your website said was open and was closed due to it being on a college campus. Thanks for listening!
