ION Solar was founded in 2013 when two companies, Vision Solar and Zing Solar, joined to create one company; ION Solar. The company installs solar panels for residential homes in California, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.

All services, including permits, design, installation, inspection, and maintenance are performed by the company.
