Stash took two different charges out of my checking account every month. When I noticed this i immediately called requested refunds for all charges and to close my account immediately. Mind you Stash had been taking money out from Oct 2022 until Feb 2023. I was told I could not speak with a supervisor and they aren’t refunding my funds. So I would say I am very disappointed with this business. I will continue to report and investigate on my own with the bbb as well as my banking institution. This isn’t right.

Locked out the account at 8 am.
Called customer services – no answer, times logged:
8:00 – 9:00 –hold / no answer
9:15 – 27 second hold- no answer
9:40 – 11 mins hold – no answer
10: 08 – after holding and finally connected. We had a 1 hr. and 6 mins conversation.
Spoke with a young lady and a supervisor- Pablo. ( both kind but not helpful in the situation & NOT their fault)
They cannot send me a reset password link. My email account is locked and my email is entered incorrectly but they refused to update email address without driver’s license. However they sent me 2 emails to send source documentation. Why cannot they update my email address in the system if they can send me an email ?? after verifying all personal information ( that is ridiculous) They cannot unlock my account because I am missing supporting documentation ( understandable) but they can send me an email but cannot update my correct email because that will trigger my reset password
to work. ( smart company tactic but not consumer friendly)
Your company policies makes it very unfriendly to set up basic profile in this manner ( all I needed was to reset password – I would have uploaded docs, however, you refused to update my email) I was in the process of setting up an account, this experience has made it very unpleasant and wasted my time. You do have legitimate customer support. If you want people to invest money provide appropriate customer service in real time.
Theses measures that you took with me was not to protect my identity because you were provided my NAME /DOB/SS/ DL…. So please don’t justify your policies. This makes me as new customer, not want to get involved with you. Please kindly unlock my account and delete my subscription ASAP. If you continue to make this difficult for me I will write a terrible review and will broadcast it through to twitter and TIKTOK e.ct and or seek legal action.

My account has been locked for a month. Sent all required docs but still they won’t unlock my account. Don’t use stash. It is a cabbage company. Take your money somewhere else.
