Originally founded as a marketing site, the company offers discount merchandise from vendors on their website. The company has expanded shipping and operations to 5 other countries, including Australia, Hong Kong, and Mexico. Market America has changed their domain name to Shop.Com in 2010, as a means of expanding Market America’s cash back program that was started in 2008.

Shop.Com has been criticized for being the ultimate multi-level marketing scheme, however, with nearly half a billion dollars in sales, it seems customers are inclined to disagree.

Yes sir my name is Craig alexandco I am a customer as of 06/21. I am very distressed and and hurt of a purchase online my first one ever and I almost don’t ever want to do it again I made a purchase online with your company and it’s been pure nightmare I am a disabled vet and I turn my cell phone on and there your company is glancing through I see something that I really want. So I proceed off my cell phone using my debit card I go for the first time and put my information my account number my banking off my card information and an attempt to purchase a electric scooter a hot fat tire 1500 w adult scooter I’ll give you more information with the scooter was using my debit card remember now this is the first time with your company and me using my card for a good size purchase over the internet okay here’s how it goes. I’m using my debit card direct Express and filling out information. the stupid pop up of PayPal appeared on my screen I don’t know what the hell it is or what it meant but I declined it and used and check checked and used my debit card information to pay for your merchandise okay built out all the information submitted it the transaction went through okay so the scooter was on sale for $149 and it was free shipping but I needed it and I paid an extra $29.95 or $30 for speed delivery 5 days delivery okay at that point I was happy so days later I’m saying where the hell is my my merchandise I gave the proper information address my my everything my my where I live and trying to find out where my merchandise is okay I go back and forth I put hours into this find out where the hell my my merchandise is that I paid for the total was approximately 179 dollars about that anyway no scooter no nothing no delivery to my door to my manager’s door so okay I go I go and do some investigating company says you’ll be emailed the tracking number or shipment and tracking number okay then I’m getting information about it’s been shipped and delivered. It was not so I’m doing all the searching for the shipper and I don’t know. Who the shipper was Ben something about vroom.. in beastly I don’t know I just want my merchandise that I paid for but it said it been shipped and never received it then it said I finally got a tracking number and it said it went to Tigard Oregon that it was received by somebody on the dock great great okay tiicked off so.. so I put my time hours trying to determine where the hell it went and got back and email from somebody I possibly I think from your company since they apologize for the inconvenience and and I basically wanted to cancel out the order and they said that they would make it right with me okay what month is it now I ordered it the first month of 2021 no reply no phone call I’m pi**ed make it right yeah it would be nice like I said I’m going to disable bet so now it’s a month’s gone by I have not received my order or my money so I go and check my my debit card direct Express which I think they suck and I’m getting a different direct deposit for my VA benefits and my SSI and I had with my information to your company was charged twice $356 or something like that that’s orders okay so I checked the tracking four packages we’re supposed to be on its way that’s four packages okay one package I was told was held at the warehouse for what reason I don’t know at the warehouse but I don’t know for what reason okay it never came to my apartment no note from the the deliverer nothing said deliver but it was not delivered and not but not to me would you please make this right and far.356.00 was taking was taken I’ll take the merchandise my name is Craig alexenko I can be reached a multi different ways please my new number is 503-278-XXXX… 503-741-XXXX that’s my TextNow number and my email is k r a g e n k o at gmail.com please contact me as soon as possible I really I spend a lot of money and I really want to order and use your business your company I don’t have the money your company does speaking with respect I really appreciate it I’m really tired it’s been months my direct Express their bunch of bums I don’t like them at all but I want to use your company I just want it made right sincerely Mr Craig Kelly Alexandra Gladstone Oregon disabled vet please contact me it would be nice today God bless you and I appreciate it I don’t want to have to go to better Business bureau I don’t want to go through all that I just want what I purchased if you can understand thank you sir
