We had carpet installed in our house in November 2021 and paid over 4 thousand dollars. This is the worst carpet I have ever seen. Our neialso agree. I.called Classic Carpet here in Lawton OK and they did nothing about this problem. The carpet shows every footprint and everyone that visit us says it looks like a bunch of cows ran across it. I am very ashamed to let anyone come to visit us. I talked to Dewayne at classic carpet and he said well that what you chose. Yes but it was not like that on the sample. It is terrible. Not happy at all.

Shaw Carpet
Our carpet was purchased in April 2016 and was installed on April 2 & 3, 2016. You do not stand behind your products! We have had our carpet stretched 3 times by 3 different installers with no satisfaction. The wrinkled condition is a “trip or trap” for my husband and I. Due to our age of 81 and 78 this could be a broken hip, leg or other life changing injury.
We have contacted the retailer, Shaw carpet and Flooring Warranty twenty one times trying to get something done. Requesting Shaw to send a representative to view our problem. They instead sent a third party for inspection.
We were later informed that Shaw would not replace the carpet, however we did not request replacement carpet, just wanted it fixed.

My name is Ed Koopman, I am a VP of a major US Building products company and recently had a Shaw floor installed in my home in Ontario, Canada. The boards of the floor have a sharp 90 degree edge, and have splintered off in numerous sections along the length of the board. These splinters are continuing to appear and we often get our socks or mop caught on these splinters. An Investigation was conducted (Claim #251856)and they blamed the installer for the wrong nails and pressure. Our installers have 50 years of experience between them and they showed us the problem when the installation began. The splintering occurs at nail sites and randomly along the edge, where no nails exist. There were initially a few splinters, but over the last few months they continue to occur. Shaw continues to deny any quality issues. I continually repair the floor – no help from Shaw or their representatives. Poor after market support and customer service.
