My family and I stopped at 8603 Tx 151 suite 209 in SA location. It was the worst experience EVER! When we first walked in it stunk fiercely like dirty mop water that had been left for weeks. Mine youI had my mask on! There were about 5 employees standing in a group talking, on their phones and a couple playing Rock Paper Scissors to see who’s going to take us. Not one time did they greet or I’ll be right w/you, Nothing. I was waiting near the Ice cream for at least 4-5 minutes. The girl on the phone looked at me notice that I was staring at her and she went right back to her phone to txt. Finally, I’m guessing the young man lost the game of Rock Paper Scissors, came to help us, not even apologizing for the wait.
I did not treat them rude, was being nice to the fella he just did not get a tip… yes I always tip these young people.
We’ve NEVER been treated this way from our location that we normally go to on Brooks City Base and it NEVER EVER smells trashy!!!

Went to the Marble Slab Creamery in Leander TX, so disappointed!! Went to order a banana split and they had no boats for it…what??!! It is an ice cream place and WHY would you not have supplies!! Ok, then I said give me just wo scoops, chocolate and pistachio (pistachio is on the menu), well they don’t have pistachio, so just ended up leaving!! Hate going to a place and they don’t have what they claim to sell!! What a disappointment for a 1st visit and probably last.

I was working with marble slab, crossiron mills location for a week. I had a bad experience working there as the owner was really rude and harassing. I decided not to return back and asked her to pay for the 18 hours I gave. But, she refused to pay by saying that I was a trainee. Seriously!!! Now what should I do about it.

My husband and I decided to bring our young daughters to get ice cream tonight and had one of the worse experiences ever! We’ve been to this marble slab at least a dozen times in the past few years and it’s never been great service but it wasn’t as bad as tonight. The person fixing our ice cream was the manager and he never smiled, he seemed irritated, and annoyed. My 6 year old wanted to try a new flavor and he acted as though it was a problem. Once we all had our ice cream, he proceeded to ring us up. My husband had his rewards on his phone and tried to redeem them and the man said he couldn’t accept that and he didn’t have that number in the system. We tried showing him the same number on my husbands phone and the $5 off associated with the account. A different employee came up and said they had a new system and said we can get information by the door. The other employee proceeded to tell the customer behind us that she could go, her ice cream was free. I was like what? We can’t get you to honor our rewards and you can give her free ice cream just like that. They didn’t care and it was very obvious from their faces. I’d been wanting marble slab ice cream all weekend and was looking forward to having it! I will never go back to Marble Slab. I’ve gotten at least 4 cookie cakes for parties the last 2 years, countless dollars spent here, and to be treated like we were was ridiculous and unprofessional. It’s a disgrace and it’s sad that this manager can treat people this way and get away with it. This was the RICHMOND location, in LaCenterra off 99. Very disappointed with this experience!

I am an employee of the Marble Slab Creamery / Great American Cookie in Mobile, AL, located in the Shops of Schillinger. I’m making a complaint about the owner, who has rarely ever paid his employees on time.
Since I have worked here, he has more often than not refused to bring his employees their checks on the day that they are to be paid (the 1st and 15th every month). It is not that he doesn’t have the checks (except for when the pay period ends on a weekend), he simply refuses to bring the checks to the store and holds on to them, while refusing to allow any managers to come and get the checks themselves. He has held checks up to 3 days past payday multiple times. This has caused his employees from not only this store but another store distress and problems, as this often causes us to be unable to pay our bills on time, get groceries, or have the money to get gas just so we can simply get to work for our shift. This is something the owner, Brock, does purposefully with no regard for his employees or their needs.
Beyond this, I will also be attempting to find a way to call or email Marble Slab Creamery corporate directly.

I just went to a marble slab in San Antonio tx stire805. Service was fine. The girl that served me wasn’t to bright.
Anyways.
My 6 year old daughter paid for small ice cream, small cup 4.99 plus tax minus discount the total was $5.33.
For me. Lrg ice cream, lrg cup 6.49 plus tax minis discount was $6.68.
The second ice cream was 3 scoops.
I asked the lady why and was told because of the cup.
First one was a cardboard cup second was a plastic cup.
Why is there such a problem with the charges for the ice cream.
All the worker could say was sorry. Not much of an explanation. I couldn’t tell my daughter no.
Can his disparity be fixed?
Thanks
Al

To Whom it may concern:
Something needs to be done about the manager and staff at your Marble Slab in Victoria Tx.
My daughter and I ordered a Birthday Calke for my husband on 6-28-17. We picked it up the next day (having already paid for it) and when we took it home and cut into it we all tried a small piece because NOTHING was as we ordered. The ice cream was supposed to be dark double chocolate and the cake white, with chocolate frosting, with pecans mixed in the ice cream. What we got was a dark cookie crust, and tasteless light chocolate ice cream with frosting made from the same ice cream. No white cake or cake at all. The ice cream tasted sugar free, really. I called the next day and the girl said we didn’t have to bring it back and she would talk to manager and call me back. She did, he said he would not be their until Monday and we DID NEED TO BRING THE CAKE IN on Monday and get our money back.
My husband took the cake in on Monday (today) and the ‘manager’ told him he would not give our money back because we took 3 small pieces out of it at the time of the birthday party. That’s how we knew how terrible it was. He would not refund our money and told my husband to NEVER come back to ‘his’ store. My husband obliged him.
This is totally unaceptable and we are very very upset about it. What will you do about it?
Sincerely,
Robin, John and Ashley Neil

I give this place zero stars and five thumbs down based on how my Mother and I were treated yesterday. I came in to redeem a birthday voucher and the young lady behind the counter acted as if she didn’t want us to use it. She said she needed to call the Store Manager to make sure she would be able to use it. I don’t know why she felt the need to do that because the voucher clearly had the company logo and info on it. The address of the store location and expiration date were clearly visible to the human eye. Anyway once she talked with the Store Manager she said we were able to use it. I asked the young lady how long she had been working there? She replied 2 years. I asked was this a new marketing tool that was just launched? She replied no, it’s been going on for awhile now but sometimes people try to redeem the vouchers for different locations and that’s not allowed. Hmm..okay is what I was thinking. So this young lady was not new to working there and the marketing tool that this company uses to promote business isn’t new either. So why would we get treated such a way? I called the Store Manager and expressed my concern towards the customer service and he even told me he didn’t understand why this young lady called him about the voucher when she knew that she could use it as long as the voucher had not expired. He even told me that the location of the store didn’t have to be on the voucher in order for it to be used. Ladies and gentleman this was clearly discrimination at it’s finest. So beware of going to this establishment if you would like to be treated as an equal and enjoy a pleasant customer service experience.
I wrote this review a week and a half ago on Google Reviews. No one contacted me regarding this issue. It took for me to reach out to someone in Customer Service about this complaint in order for anyone to follow up with me. I haven’t heard anything concerning this matter since Thursday of last week.
