Legitimate Florist says
From the entries on this site alone, you probably see that it can be rough being a customer of Just Flowers. Now imagine being a florist, any florist.
First. know that Just Flowers is NOT A FLORIST. They are a WIRE SERVICE, and as such, they depend totally on REAL FLORISTS to provide products and services. You can get the same products and services from any/every local florist! Ignore the discount gimmicks, and just search for a local florist, using ‘FLORIST SomeZipCode’. Disregard the other obvious wire services, make sure there’s an actual business LOCATION on a map, and then contact them by phone, email, their websites, or even go visit them. Both you and they will benefit from the direct relationship. And there’ll be little or none of the drama so often associated with using wire services.
Seems simple doesn’t it. It is, but you’d be AMAZED at how many people think they should go with the wire services’ names, or they get seduced by claims of big savings.
Next, in addition to the Just Flowers website, they also use a second website named FlowerShopFlorists.com. That website stores and uses the names of just about every legitimate florist in existence! It uses that info to cause web search engines to show their website although they have NOTHING to do with a real florist’s business! So for example if you do a search for Florist XYZ, your search results will probably include a link to FlowerShopFlorists.com. If you go to that webpage, you’ll see phone numbers and addresses for Florist XYZ.
But BEWARE! There is NO link to Florist XYZ’s website. Instead, there are pretty pictures of flowers. And if you click any of them, you WON’T be taken to Florist XYZ’s website to place an order! Nope! Instead, you’re taken to Just Flowers’ website. Look at your web browser’s address line and you’ll see the word “affiliates”. Almost certainly the florist you started looking for is NOT an affiliate of Just Flowers. As a result, you can easily place an order with Just Flowers even though you began your search for Florist XYZ!
We think this practice is at least smarmy. Florist XYZ gets nothing while Just Flowers leverages the good name of real florists.
Be careful out there! The internet is a great tool except when it’s abused.

This is my first online review of a service or product ever. But my daughter is crying now, so I felt the need to share…
When people order flowers, they do that to have a happy experience. This is not that story… This is a story about JustFlowers and their customer service.
My daughter and I have been separated from my Mom for months due to Covid and it’s devastating us all. For her Grandma’s birthday, my kid spent almost an hour trying to pick out “just the right” bouquet. She was so proud of her choice and effort! She finally found “the one”. We fully upgraded the arrangement and paid for guaranteed 1pm delivery. On the day of her birthday, my Mom later sent a picture of what she got and, off course, she thanked us. Except it was not what we ordered AT ALL. Instead of a HUMONGOUS arrangement of beautiful orchids, the florist delivered one orchid stem in a pot. My daughter was immediately devastated as she spent the day in anticipation of the delivery and a call to her Grammy bragging about her “choice”. But it’s not that the orchid looked bad – in fact I sometimes buy the SAME little orchid pot as a quick gift for a collegue or friend for $20 (!), but it was just ONE orchid vs MANY-MANY that we actually ordered. However, I assured my kid that it will be fine, “Hey, Girl, mistakes happen, I will call JustFlowers and they will fix it, no biggie.” I called customer service and sent them the picture of what my Mom got, totally expecting them to agree that it was just a mistake (because it was so obviously was) and redeliver the correct bouquet that we paid $109 plus tax and fees. Not only they refused to send the right arrangement to my Mom, they said they would only refund $25. And by the way – they are not going to refund me any tax, which I paid on $109. I am not sure if that is even legal. To get to that $25 refund it took 2 days of conversations, including the one with a very abrupt and absent manager, who just kept saying “our policy”. Any policy that does not make things RIGHT for the obvious wrong is not a good policy. This was not right. This feels like borderline theft as they could have easily contacted me to say that they did not have what I ordered and my daughter would have picked my Mom another special bouquet for the same money. Instead, the florist just grabbed one flower stem and thought it would be an acceptable substitution?? And JustFLowers agrees with that??
Sadly my kid got one of her first educations in how some companies can hurt you and take your money if they just keep saying “our policy”. Any self-respecting company that cares about its’ brand would either refund the full price or just offer another arrangement.
In case if you decide that you are that company after all, my order number is 9177132.
Best regards.

I ordered flowers on May 16th to be delivered to Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA on May 18th. The arrangement was “Over the Flue Horizon” . There were supposed to be Blue and White flowers in a cobalt blue vase. What delivered on May 18th were only white flowers in a clear glass vase for $75.00. I feel that I was ripped off for the plain white arrangement. My order # #9050267 , paid for by American Express.

Ordered Flowers 3 days ago for same day delivery, Flowers were not delivered, Had to pay extra to get flowers there by next day before 2pm, Flowers were not delivered, Was told they would be delivered early today, did not happen, Called and found Florist, He handled it right away. Do NOT use this company, they rip off the customers, They cheat the Florists out of money which is why they do not get delivered. Find a local Florist online and deal directly from Florist. So much faster and friendlier. THIS SITE SUCKS!!!

I am also furious about “Just Flowers” I ordered and they did not deliver but they charged my credit card. This was for a funeral not Mothers Day. They did call back to offer some 12.00 credit however they would get the flowers there that very next morning. They again did not deliver !!!! I can not get thru on the phone numbers they provide. Due to the Covid 19 issue I can not reach my bank either. I will NEVER use this fraudulent company again.

Ordered retirement flowers on Tuesday for same day delivery to our business. They never Came. I was offered a refund if the expedite fee and redirected them to the persons house. They didn’t deliver. On FRIDAY afternoon I was contacted and offered a $7 credit “try” to get them delivered Saturday. When I demanded my money back I was out on hold then offered a $15 credit. This wasn’t about MONEY it was to publicly honor a retiree on her last day at work. After demanding my money back I was placed on a long hold and hung up. I received an email that aa refund will be processed. Now I have to figure out how to honor this now FORMER employee. Never again. If you can’t deliver, don’t accept the order and payment.

Ordered and centerpiece for sympathy for my friends fathers passing. It was a green centerpiece with a large candle in the middle. When it was delivered by friend sent me a picture and it was a vase with white mums and 4 red roses. Not comparable price wise to what was ordered. Firstly I thought I was on a local Newtown florist website so this was a little deceiving to begin with. I called customer service 5 times the first day and no one could help me they kept telling me that they were not able to reach the florist. I called back two days later since I did not hear back from them and was told they were still not able to reach the florist. This was the friday and weekend before Christmas. I don’t think flower shops close this time of the year. I cannot get any satisfaction on this matter. Now that it is after Christmas I certainly do not want the original arrangement ordered but I should at least get a refund for the difference in the arrangement that was ordered and what was received. I am contacting the Philadelphia area television station that investigates fraud because from what I am reading your company is a scam. I do not know how you have an A+ rating from the BBB . I don’t think that rating is real and if it is they need to take another look at your rating with them. I will not stop until the money is refunded.

Do not order from this company!!! Horrible customer service. My husband, who is stationed in Afghanistan right now, ordered flowers for my birthday. They never came. We have been trying to cancel the order for two days now. They won’t cancel the order because the florist is saying there was an attempted delivery. I was home all day both days of the supposed attempted deliveries and have security cameras that detect motion and automatically record. No one has attempted to deliver!!!! They literally told me at one point they are believing the florist company, even they they have not provided a time they attempted delivery either day, over my physical proof as their customer showing no attempted delivery. Do Not Buy from this horrible company!!!!

How much more disappointments do you expect us to endure? We made a purchase for flowers to be delivered on Saturday July 6, for our friends “50th” Anniversary, we informed you that since the party was at a hotel, the flowers could be delivered anytime during the day. YOU FAILED !!! Your agent called us late Saturday evening and promised to deliver the flowers to there home on Monday with a note of apology, once again YOU FAILED !!! Your ability to provide a service you advertise is an embarrassment to your company.

I think not. Stupid is as stupid does. !!

I ordered the flowers to be delivered specifically on Sunday, paid additional. Just Flowers made a delivery on Saturday, saying that they do that when they are unable to deliver on Sunday. I argued that if I wanted a delivery on Saturday I wouldn’t have ordered the flowers on line, but rather placed the order with the local florist; I made it specific and clear, and was charged additional fee for the Sunday delivery. Karen ( supervisor) from Just Flowers was bubbling about “it’s our policy, it’s our policy…”. They charged me a lot for a “cat in the bag” which they didn’t deliver… When I asked to be reimbursed for the ruined event, they offered 5$, then $7, then $10. It is an insult.
Terrible business ethics. They collected the money ( highly overpriced as well), didn’t deliver what was paid for, did not assume any responsibility for the fiasco and refused to give the money back… I demanded to be reimbursed 50% of the paid and not delivered services, and consider it to be very generous and humane. Just Flowers is just bad, not to be trusted business.

We ordered flowers last Tuesday 6/27 (8640546) to be delivered Thursday 6/29.
Long story short, emails came in stating they couldn’t make the funeral home so we had them sent to a resident of the family member deceased. Well today a week later we are now told they still haven’t been delivered.
Called customer service & spoke to Venus who said she had to get a manager. Once the manager got on the phone we asked for a refund again & she continued to try and give us money off the late order, $10 at first then $15 next.
Again we told her no and we just wanted our money back. Service was a week ago and don’t want to bring up the bad day again a week later due to company neglect.
She told us we couldn’t receive a refund because the order was placed and scheduled for delivery today, which I doubt.
Then when we requested someone with more authority than her we were told she was it. When asked about a contact for corporate offices we were told she couldn’t give that out. At that point she was just rude & uncooperative so we ended the call.
I hope that someone will take this seriously since this is not the first time this has happened using your company. And as of now we will no longer us it or recommend it to any of our friends.
sincerely,
One pissed off customer!!
