Banner Health Corporate Office

Banner Health was formed in 1999 when two medical groups, Samaritan Health, and Lutheran Health, joined forces. The entity operated in 14 states and had around 22,000 employees at that time.

Banner Health is a non-profit health system that operates 30 hospitals in six states. It is the largest employer in the state of Arizona.

In April 2018, Banner submitted to an $18 million fine relating to billing and operational abnormalities relating to billing government programs for services.

In July 2020, Wyoming Medical Center agreed to become a part of Banner Health.

Banner Health boasts that they have new technology that can help save the lives of cancer patients.

In January 2023, the Digital Journal stated that the family medical services market should grow substantially at least through 2030.

The company maintains a corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Rehab Without Walls Corporate Office

I1 1995, Dr. Neil Brooks and Cathy Johnson set out to create a rehabilitation facility for those with brain injuries. They wanted to help brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients in a new way: blending scientifically backed rehab protocols with the patient’s real-life activities.

Rehab Without Walls might also be called Rehab Without Barriers. The company operates in 19 US states, Canada, and the UK.

The company specializes in Post Intensive Care Syndrome, acute brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke rehabilitation, various neurological conditions, and more.

In 2011, Rehab Without Walls was sold to ResCare, Inc., a nursing and rehabilitation service company.

Some program participants spend the year making bracelets, jewelry, and other novelty items that are later sold at the local Farmer’s Market.

In July 2012, the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association selected a participant from Rehab Without Walls for its Child of the Year Award.

The parent company of Rehab Without Walls, BrightSpring Health Services, acquired Pate Rehabilitation.

Rehab Without Walls maintains a corporate office in Louisville, Kentucky.

United Healthcare Corporate Office

United Healthcare, also spelled UnitedHealthcare, can trace its roots back to 1974 when Richard Taylor Burke founded Charter Med Incorporated, a Minnetonka, Minnesota-based privately held company. In 1977, the United HealthCare Corporation was created to reorganize the company and became the parent company of Charter Med. United HealthCare’s charter was to manage the newly created Physicians Health Plan of Minnesota, an early health management organization.

Today the company offers health care products and insurance services. UnitedHealth Group is the world’s eighth-largest company in terms of revenue and second-largest healthcare company behind CVS Health by revenue, and the largest insurance company by net premiums. UnitedHealthcare revenues comprise 80% of the Group’s overall revenue.

The company continues to expand, often by acquisition.

In 2017, UnitedHealthcare acquired Rally Health and in 2019, it acquired DaVita Medical Group.

In 2016, UnitedHealthcare announced that it was pulling out of the Obamacare health plan in all but three states.

The company has faced numerous fines and lawsuits including in 2017, CMS fined UnitedHealthcare after discovering issues in Medicare Part D leading to delays or denials in a 2016 audit, the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance fined UnitedHealthcare $2.5 million due to various compliance issues; this was the largest fine against a licensee in nine years and in Pennslyvania, UnitedHealthcare assessed $1 million penalty for claims payment violations.

Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Corporate Office

In 1946, Anthem began in Indianapolis, Indiana, originally as Mutual Hospital Insurance Inc. and Mutual Medical Insurance Inc. The company grew significantly, controlling 80% of the medical insurance market in Indiana by the 1970s.

The company provides health insurance in the USA. In 2018, the company had 40 million members.

In 2001, Anthem was the 4th largest health care provider in the US.

In 2018, the company announced a $20 million expansion of its headquarters and the signing of a lease in Atlanta for its technology center.

In October 2021, the company partnered with Kroger to allow health plans that would include an allowance to purchase grocery and health care items.

Also in October 2021, many therapists and psychiatrists stated that Anthem had drastically reduced payments for office visits, forcing them to drop patients who carry Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Today, Anthem is the largest provider of health insurance in the US.

Headquarters remain in Indianapolis, Indiana.

GoodRx Corporate Office

This Santa Monica, California-based startup was founded in September 2011 by Trevor Bezdek and former Facebook executives Doug Hirsch and Scott Marlette.

GoodRx is an American telemedicine website and prescription drug tracking app that helps people find the cheapest price on prescription drugs.

The website receives about 14 million visitors each month and by February 2020, millions have downloaded the GoodRX app.

In September 2019, GoodRx acquired the telemedicine company HeyDoctor and rebranded the telemedicine platform as GoodRX Care. The platform allows individuals to consult with a doctor online and obtain a prescription for certain types of medications at a cost of $20 as of December 2019, regardless of insurance status. Medical testing services, which vary in price, are also offered through the platform.

In February 2020, Consumer Reports stated that GoodRx shared user data information, such as the name of the drug that was being searched, with companies such as Facebook and Google.

A few days later, GoodRx says that they have stopped sharing this information with Facebook.
