P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, commonly referred to as P.F.Chang’s, was founded by Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming. Their first location was in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company specializes in Chinese American cuisine, Asian beers, wines, specialty drinks, sake, as well as gluten free food choices.

The company owns and operates two different restaurant concepts; Pei Wei Asian Diner and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. This is an international chain with 204 P.F. Chang restaurants in America, 170 quick, casual style Pei Wei restaurants, along with 15 P.F. Chang’s in the Middle East, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

P.F. Chang’s went private in July of 2012 when the chain was purchased by Centerbridge Partners. P.F. Chang’s also has a line of “Home Menu” frozen foods and appetizers that is owned by Unilever.

Plexus Worldwide was founded in 2006 by Alfred Petersen and Tarl Robinson. The company originally began selling a breast check kit and breast cream but the recession in 2008 found the company looking in other directions. They soon developed a diet drink called “The Pink Drink” because of the unique color.

Today, Plexus Worldwide creates and sells a variety of health, wellness, and diet supplements sold via a group network sales model. The company is based out of Scottsdale, Arizona, where they offer tours of their facility.

Elephant Bar Corporate Office

Elephant Bar was founded in 1980 by David Nancarrow in Lubbock, Texas. The restaurant chain has an African safari theme with large, elephant statues inside and outside most locations, zebra print wallpaper and leopard print carpets. Most food dishes are pan-Asian fusion or typical American fare of BBQ ribs and hamburgers. There are currently 29 locations throughout the US, with most of the locations being in California.

Elephant Bar was forced to file for bankruptcy in June of 2014 and was purchased by CM7 Capital, whose parent company is Chalak Mitra Group, who also runs the Genghis Grill chain. The new owners closed 16 restaurant locations, including the Elephant Bar in Irvine and Santa Clarita, California, two very popular locations.

In July of 2015, Elephant Bar locations began offering a reward system for frequent diners in hopes of increasing sales.
