Rent-A-Wreck was founded in 1968 in Los Angeles, California. The company began as a marketing idea, with used cars being rented in neighborhood locations, rather than airports. The company rents cars generally purchased used from other rental companies.

The Honest Company was founded in 2011 by Jessica Alba, Sean Kane, Christopher Gavigan, Maria Ivette, and Brian Lee in Santa Monica, California. The company manufactures and sells non-toxic cleaning products and baby items. Alba had allergic reactions to many cleaning products as a child. After the birth of her own child, Alba decided to make non-toxic products available to everyone.

Products were first sold at Costco, Whole Foods, and later, Target. Today, products can also be purchased at Nordstroms and Buy Buy Baby. Approximately 80% of sales come from the company’s online site. Currently, the company offers their products in the US and Canada, but there are plans to expand to China, Australia, and the UK.

Hoss’s Steak and Sea House was founded in 1983 in DuBois, Pennsylvania, by Willard Campbell. Campbell still serves as CEO. The company operates an American style restaurant chain in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The company is a well-known icon in the community and has been voted “Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania” by several organizations, for several consecutive years. Currently, there are 36 locations in two states. Each location is decorated with old newspapers from local publishing companies, old photos of each town, and antique objects of art.

Hoss’s Steak and Sea House serves typical American fare, such as steaks, baked potatoes, onion rings, sandwiches, chicken and sea food dishes, burgers, as well as desserts such as lemon pie and cheesecake.

Radisson Hotels was founded in 1907 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The hotel chain is named after the 17th century French explorer Pierre Esprit Radisson. Curt Carlson purchased the company in 1962. It is still owned and operated by the Carlson family and is a subsidiary of Carlson, Inc.

Although the name is Radisson International, the majority of hotels are in the US. The company has a chain of 14 luxury hotels in the UK, which go by the name of Radisson Blu. Radisson Red hotels were launched in 2015 and are aimed at younger persons. The company has plans to open 60 Radisson Red’s in international locations by 2020.

The company currently has 990 locations in 73 countries, with plans to expand into emerging markets, such as Russia, India, and Brazil, in the next decade.
