I placed an on-line order for a Little Joe Pepperoni Pizza & a 2 liter size Diet Pepsi for pickup on Friday, August 5th, 2022 at approximately 5:11 p.m. for the Happy Joe’s located at 4020 Kennedy Drive, East Moline, IL 61244. I received an approximate “ready” pickup time of 5:31 p.m. which was 20 minutes after placing my order.
I got to the restaurant’s parking lot at approximately 5:36 p.m. & joined the drive-thru line. I waited behind a couple of other vehicles & was able to pull up to the payment window at approximately 5:57 p.m. I handed my cash payment over to the window clerk & I specifically asked for a receipt. I was handed my 2 liter Diet Pepsi but did not receive a receipt. I was informed it would take about 6 more minutes before my Little Joe Pepperoni Pizza was ready. I was then asked to park at the back of the parking lot which I did. I finally received my pizza at about 6:26 p.m., 1 hour & 15 minutes after initially placing my on-line order. I also did not get a receipt as I had specifically requested. In my opinion, this is a very poor turn around time for a Little Joe 4 piece pizza & a bottle of Diet Pepsi.
If this particular Happy Joe’s restaurant is suffering from a staff shortage, they should not be accepting more customer orders than they can handle in a reasonable turn around time. Customers should also be informed by the team members if there will be a considerable time delay for their orders.
Despite the excessive time delay, I was highly satisfied with the quality & taste of my pizza.

We visited LeClaire Happy Joe’s and was very impressed !
We wondered if Happy Joe’s is interested in syarting another branch ?
We live in Walnut, IL. We have an open & running restaurant for sale (by owner) It’s history was a grocery store for over 40 years and a former Pizza Hut. Decor ready.
A second pizza parlor is for sale by owner. Smaller store front with possibly more space in back.
We used to take our children to Sterling or Kewanee for Happy Joe’s. We lost Sterling’s None of Sterling’s pizza place have a place where kids can be kids !
We are now grandparents and would like to see a Happy Joe’s here.
We were impressed with LeClaire’s small operation, small town charm.
Our small town is on a revitalization just like LeClaire has been.
I hope to hear back from you !
