Rocky Rococo Corporate Office

Rocky Rococo was founded in 1974 in Madison, Wisconsin, by Wayne Mosley and Roger Brown. The name comes from a Fireside Theater character. The company operates a chain of pan-style pizza locations.

The company was sold to Thomas Hester and other investors in 1987. The chain remains privately owned and operated. As of this writing, there are 40 locations across the US. The estimated annual revenue is $40-65 million. The company employs approximately 425 persons full-time.

In addition to pizza, the company offers salads, bread sticks, and a variety of pasta with red or white sauce. Vegetarian pasta dishes are available, as well as a whole wheat crust for pizzas.

The company is well-known for adding its spokesperson, Rocky Rococo, into famous movie scenes. 

In February 2016, the person who posed as spokesperson Rocky Rococo passed away. 

Company headquarters are located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Wahoo’s Fish Taco was founded in Costa Mesa, California, by brothers, Ed and Mingo Lee, along with Wing Lam. The brothers are a Chinese / Brazilian mix. While on a trip through Mexico, they found that mixing Chinese spices with Mexican style food gave ordinary tacos a completely different twist.

When the first restaurant opened, the three men did all the work; taking an order, running to the kitchen to make it, then delivering it to the table and cleaning up afterwards. Today, Wahoo’s Fish Taco has approximately 64 locations in 7 states and one in Tokyo, Japan. The menu is geared towards healthier eating while still enjoying traditional favorites.

Wahoo’s Fish Taco is also known for their vegetarian and vegan menus, as well as a kid’s menu. Headquarters are located in Santa Ana, California.

Fairy Cakes Cupcakery, often referred to as simply Fairy Cupcakes, was founded in 2011 in Buffalo, New York, by three friends, Kelly Audette, Andrea Janetske, and Mo Torpey. The company operates a custom bakery for cakes, cookies, and cupcakes.

The bakery originally began as a catering service for weddings and other types of parties. Demand for cupcakes, however, grew substantially in the following years. After being featured on the Martha Stewart show, the owners decided to open the location to the general public.  The recipes come from the owners’ families, using premium ingredients. Approximately 10 varieties of cupcakes are rotated, with 7 signature flavors of the day and another 8 standing flavors that are made each day.

Fairy Cakes was featured in a bake off contest on The Cooking Channel and won first place in December of 2016. In addition to special orders, catering, and every day bakery items, the company also offers a large party room for special events.

Clayton’s Crab Company was founded in Rockledge, Florida, in 1967, when Clayton Korecky, at the time a local fisherman, caught far more blue crab than he could use. He began by selling to wholesalers, and in 1970, decided to open his own seafood restaurant, featuring crab.

The company still sells crabs and other seafood wholesale, as well as offering live crabs for customers who wish to cook their own, but the company is best known for their own king sized crab and restaurant. Fish selection varies, depending on what is caught, as well as crab selection. Snow crab and King crabs are almost always available. Other food items include octopus, alligator, and duck.

Clayton’s Crab Company was sold to long time employees Brian and Jan Walker in 2013, who intend to keep the Clayton’s name.

Snow is not something people think of when they come to Hawaii, but Kodama makes this thought process possible. “Snow”, in the company stores, means shaved ice. The stores sell both shaved ice and clothing advertising “Island Snow”. Clothing is made on the islands, as well as the shaved ice and flavors. The company sells men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, including long and short sleeved shirts, tank tops, shorts, and accessories, such as wallets and stickers for cars or surfboards.

Island Snow Hawaii has been frequented by President Barak Obama. There are currently two locations, one in Honolulu, the other in Kiailua, Hawaii.
