Dear Farm Fresh To You
I have worked at Farm Fresh To You as a Direct Sales since November 11, 2020, I am experiencing the following difficulties in performing my job because of my disability: living with a learning disability called Auditory Deficiency and a skin disorder causing severe Eczema & Autoimmune disease/. I feel ostracized, singled out, and unsupported by my employer. Ridiculed and reprimanded over minor things that could have been worked out had he received proper guidelines and training. Consequently, this situation has triggered my mentally and physically causing anxiety, depression, and ‘flare-ups’. Despite my disability, I have challenged myself to be a productive, responsible, capable employee and member of society.
I am writing to request that you
To work from home because I’m very concerned about my health the only reason I don’t see myself going go to the door in the middle of a Pandemic. I don’t want to expose myself to my Autoimmune disease/Lupus& Eczema plus I have Asthma. I enjoy talking about Farm Fresh To You Families over the phone I feel more natural in my own space. If you have alternative suggestions regarding reasonable accommodations, please share them with me so we can work together to find a workable and effective accommodation.
I have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and I need this accommodation to successfully perform my job.
For more information about my rights and your responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act, you can contact the Job Accommodation Network at 1-800-526-7234, the Southeast ADA Center at 1-800-949-4232, or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission at 1-800-669-4000. The Job Accommodation Network also provides examples of possible reasonable accommodations for different disabilities.
If you have any questions about my request you can contact me in writing or by phone. However, I would appreciate a written response to this request within two weeks of the date of this letter. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Shawn Aubrey
