The company states that the popularity of solar panels has allowed their company to  double production every single year, with 2015 showing a 400% increase in demand for residential solar panels. Legend Solar is a full service company, which gets HOA approval and city permits for their clients, while homeowners receive all the credits for installing solar panels.

Legend Solar’s panels and workmanship offer a 25 year warranty. In 2015, the company installed more than 8,000 solar panels. Currently ,the company is licensed only for the state of Utah.

Arkansas Electric Cooperative was founded in 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a nonprofit utility cooperative which offers wholesale energy to 17 cooperatives.

The company currently serves more than 500,000 customers, covering about 62% of the entire state of Arkansas. A few members of this cooperative are C&L Electric Cooperative, Farmers Electric Cooperative, Mississippi County Electric Cooperative, and Clay County Electric Cooperative.

Arkansas Electric Cooperative, better known as AECC, also provides electricity, though long term purchase plans, such as their current 20 year agreement with Flat Ridge 2 Wind Farms in Kansas and a 20 year agreement with Origin Wind Farm in Oklahoma.

Alabama Power has more than 78,000 miles of electrical cable and is the largest taxpayer in the state. The Southern Company operates 4 electric plants, with Alabama Power is the second largest.

Lehman’s Hardware and Appliances, today, simply called Lehman’s, was founded in 1955 by Jay Lehman. His idea was to sell non-electrical and other types of old fashioned tools and hardware to the Amish community in Ohio. Business was nothing more than average until the oil embargo of 1973, when everyone began looking for ways to beat the energy crisis.

Today, Lehman’s specializes in tools and survival gear for environmentalists, survival buffs, Preppers, and those who prefer “off the grid” living. The Amish community used to make up 95% of company sales, today, they account for only about 5% of annual revenue. The company remodeled the store front, using Amish workers, to restore it to its original 1955 facade, although the store has doubled in size over the past decade.

The store is a popular tourist attraction as well, with many people believing that it is a type of museum, when in fact, every item in the store is for sale and is fully functional.
