GoJane was founded in 1998 by current CEO Tony Pang. The company operates an eCommerce store, which offers young women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. The company is especially known for its stylish shoes.

As of November of 2012, the company operates as a subsidiary of Aeropostale. GoJane has filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings in May of 2016. It is unknown if Aeropostale will sell off GoJane or if they will simply reorganize the debts of their subsidiary.

Florists’ Transworld Delivery, known to everyone as FTD, was founded in 1910 by John Valentine and 12 other florists. This cooperative of florists agreed to deliver flowers to each other’s customers, thereby increasing sales. The company began by offering its services internationally in 1965.

The company was acquired by Perry Capital Corporation, which privatized the co-op in 1994. The Mercury Network, which is the electronic program used by the company, processes approximately 15 million orders each year in 154 countries, using more than 50,000 FTD affiliates.

Mophie was founded in 2006 by Shawn Dougherty and Daniel Huang in California. Originally called mStation Audio, the company acquired Mophie in 2007 and merged both companies, keeping only the Mophie name.

The company manufactures accessories for smartphones and other electric devices. Products include batteries, external power supplies, headphones, cases, and covers. With 5 locations around the world, the company’s products are also sold in most retail outlets, as well as their active eCommerce site.

Mophie is best known for their Juice Pack smartphone battery cases, which allow the device to be safely covered and supplies additional battery life. In October of 2016, the company released a new wireless magnetic charging station for smartphones. The company has 350 employees and had annual revenue in 2013 of $215.4 million.

ZooShoo was founded in 2007 by current CEO Jason Hsu, in Chino, California. The company offers designer shoes, such as Steve Madden, Sam Edleman, Dolce Vita, as well as many other brands. Although the company originally started off selling only shoes, today the company also offers dresses and a few selected tops for women.

The company currently operates an eCommerce site only, with no brick and mortar stores, but Hsu says this is how clients save money on designer shoes. Hsu originally ran the company himself, performing every position, but today the store has 11 employees and an estimated annual revenue in 2014 of $200,000.

ZooShoo is one of the most popular online shoe stores, offering boots, flats, heels, pumps, and sandals. The company recently added accessories to their line up, including fashion sunglasses, necklaces, rings, and fun items such as inflatable pool floats.

BucketFeet Corporate Office

BucketFeet was founded in 2011 in Chicago, Illinois, by current owners Raaja Nemani and Aaron Firestein. The pair met in Argentina and Firestein gave Nemani a pair of shoes he had drawn on himself as a farewell gift. The shoes received so many inquires and compliments, that Nemani contacted Firestein in the US and the pair started their own shoe business.

The company operates a shoe design, eCommerce site and sells their shoes in selected stores, as well as their own brick and mortar store in Chicago and NewYork. Customers can design their own shoes, or choose from designs offered by others. The company states it has more than 12,000 designs from people in more than 100 countries.

BucketFeet has plans for expansion into international markets, with 3 stores planned for Asia, London, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam, by the end of 2017. Pop up stores in other cities are also very likely.
