I would like to file a complaint against your Oxnard Branch regarding the severe damage done on the front wheel of my 2020 BMW 1250 GS. Upon adviced that the tire I ordered had arrived after a delayed shipment, I proceeded to the store to get it mounted. Later that day when I came to pick it up I was told that the wheel incurred damages. The extent of damage was a deep gouge and scrapes about a foot long. Although they assured me that the store will be responsible for its repair, I do not feel comfortable and proper to just simply powder coat the rim. To make things worse, I then realized that a part of the wheel called spacer was missing. This has been a total nightmare and I request this matter be addressed in the soonest possible time. Moreover, replacement of the wheel is just and necessary.
Please contact me ASAP.

I was referred to shop at the beach Blvd cycle gear in Jacksonville Florida to purchase a set of breaks pads from a friend. Upon arrival a associate helped me find the break pads I needed as well as sold me on a new rear tire. Upon purchasing the breaks pads I headed back to remove my rear tire for mounting. Arriving back at the store a hour later their were two different employees and the employee who originally persuaded me to buy the tire as well offered to put it on hold for me left. Currently needing my bike on the road very soon for the following day I asked if they would be able to mount the tire after waiting 15 minutes for a employee they stated no without a explanation. After asking why they wouldn’t be able to they stated they couldn’t mount the tire and balance it within the last hour which is almost a 10 minute job with the machines. Later they commented another employee would have to do it the following day and asking the estimated time on completion they didn’t know responding “ just call and we will let you know “ as I needed the tire back ASAP this was a major Inconvenience for me and a waste of time because the only reason I was their initially was to purchase break pads. In the end the employees did a very nice job losing a sell and less likely I will return back to cycle gear very pathetic service and unprofessional.

I went into your store on PCH to buy a 50.00 gift card. For what ever reason the employee had a hard time putting in the gift card purchase into the register. He charged me, then refunded me back the 50.00 because the register wasn’t taking the purchase…He started over and charged me for 50.00 on a new card, this sale was ok. I left the building and checked my bank and noticed I had two 50.00 charges when it should have only been one I went back into the store and told the manager and the sales person..the sale person was very apologetic because apparently it will take several days for me to see the correction in my bank…I told the manager that I put the money in the bank because that was what I was going shopping with…I needed the money, he seemed bored and uncaring, this was there fault not mine…the system to put in gift cards manually is a mess and now I have to wait to see my refund in my bank and this wasnt my fault …to be told to call my bank about there mistake is ridiculous…I felt uncomfortable leaving the store like maybe the gift card isn’t any good either…both seemed untrained…..I do shop at this store for special occasion for my husband..we have bought many things for his bike but honestly I might never go back after this mess….I am angry about having to call my bank about a refund because they didn’t know what to do…ps the money that seemed like nothing was for medication so for me it was something….that was what i was buying…my sons medicine…please train your people to put a gift card purchase….

I have shopped at your Albuquerque location several times in the last few year, purchased 2 helmets, and have been pleased, so I went with my wife there on Saturday. We were there around 12:45Pm. We started looking around as there was one employee visible helping someone else. We kept looking for a mesh jacket for my wife, keeping an eye out for an employee to help us. When it looked like he was getting close to finished, I stood by the front counter. Another gentleman came up after me, and had been in the store much less time than us. When the employee finished his transaction, He told me he needed to go out with the other customer. I told him we had been waiting for a while. He went a got the “Manager” from the back of the store and the manager helped us. I use the term help loosely because he was not helpful and not pleasant at all, almost hostile. After spending $100.00 on a new jacket, not huge money but $100.00 is $100.00, he said Ok. Nothing else, no we’ll call you, no “Thank You”. Nothing. I told him “thank you too” And we left. This is just not any kind of good customer service I have ever seen. Thank you, a smile, friendly tone should be the rule for a $5.00 purchase or $500.00. I was seriously considering cancelling the order, but we needed to be somewhere. I think you need to talk with your employees about providing friendlier service.
