Founded in 1907, Shell is the fifth-largest company in the world. The company is active in every area of the oil and gas industry, including exploration, research, production, refining, and shipping.

Shell has divisions in more than 70 countries, including 44,000 service stations and produces 3.7 million barrels of oil every day.

In 2018, Shell announced it hoped to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner.

The company has been heavily criticized for its response to oil spills. A Dutch court ordered Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s Nigerian unit to compensate for oil spills in two villages over 13 years ago. Shell Nigeria is liable for damages from pipeline leaks in the villages of Oruma and Goi, the Hague Court of Appeals said in a ruling. Shell said that it should not be liable, as the spills were the result of sabotage.

In February 2021, Shell posted huge losses due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent quarantine.

American Girl was founded in 1986 by The Pleasant Company, which created a line of 18-inch dolls that depict 8-12 year old girls in a variety of clothing, ethnic backgrounds, and social classes, and even religious faiths.

All dolls are sold with small books that talk about characters and stories from the doll’s point of view and way of life.

Buyers can also purchase custom-made dolls that look like themselves, their children, or others. These create your own dolls were first produced in 2017.

In February 2021, young black activist Marley Dias was given an American Doll with her likeness.

The company is known for its stone and masonry work on residential homes, as well as commercial buildings. BSM is family -owned and operated.

BSM deals with top stone suppliers and offers products with a significant discount, making them very competitive.

The company deals with both contractors and individual homeowners.

While fake veneers are popular, Brandon Becker notes that nothing will last or wear like stone or brick. Backyard brick barbeques are a popular feature that homeowners want and you can’t use fake veneers for those!

Tim Brown, a New Zealand native, was well-versed in the qualities of merino wool but was surprised to find that it was not used in footwear.

AllBirds was founded in 2015. The company makes a variety of shoes made from New Zealand Merino wool and keeps their products as environmentally friendly as possible, such as using recycled paper for the cardboard boxes the shoes are shipped in.

In March 2018, the company added shoes that were made from eucalyptus tree fibers.

The name comes from the fact that New Zealand has very few indigenous land animals, but has so many birds that it is often called the land of “all birds”.

While the shoes are made from materials sourced in New Zealand, the shoes are assembled in South Korea.

As of January 2021, Allbirds has brick and mortar stores in several countries including New Zealand, the United States, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, and Japan.
