Anthropologie opened its first store in a converted automotive repair shop in 1992. By 1998, the company had begun selling clothing online.

In 2009, Anthropologie went international, with its first location in London, UK. The company currently has 216 stores in the US, Canada, and the UK.

Anthropologie sells women’s clothing, accessories, home decor items, furniture, and beauty products. One location, the Anthropologie Outlet store in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sells only home furnishings.

While many Americans stayed home during the pandemic of 2020/2021, by March 2021, most fashion outlets, such as Anthropologie, began seeing an uptick in the sale of dresses and more formal clothing.

In February 2021, Anthropologie announced that it was collaborating with fashion designer Peter Som.

Grant decided to change everything and design bras for women and made by women. Lively was founded in 2015.

Current CEO Grant prides herself on bras that are “in a broad size range, at an honest price in luxurious packaging,” and providing exceptional customer service.”

In 2016, the company raised $4 million in seed funding.

Currently, the company only offers undergarments, but Grant hopes to be able to offer swimwear, activewear, and loungewear in the near future.

In July 2019, Wacoal International acquired Lively for an undisclosed amount. Grant will remain in her role as CEO. ‘

In May 2023, People listed Lively as one of the Top 10 Most Comfortable Bras of 2023.

By 1914, Cadbury had become the best-selling chocolate in the UK.

In 2008, it was discovered that melamine was found in some Cadbury chocolate bars. Cadbury admitted that it had been using some milk from China, which was later discovered to be contaminated.

In July 2019, the company introduced a chocolate bar that contained 30 percent less sugar.

The company received criticism for their ad which features two men sharing a creme-filled egg and kissing in February 2021.

The chocolate is now available in many countries including Kazakhstan, China, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
