Due to the pandemic of 2020/2021, many companies sold a great deal of their inventory only to find that purchasing new cars was extremely difficult and expensive due to a lack of computer parts. This will mean that renting a car will be more difficult and expensive at least throuh 2022 and perhaps 2023.

Bennigan’s was founded in 1976 in Virginia by Norman Brinker. The company is an Irish-pub type restaurant that features casual dining, American cuisine, and a full bar.

The company grew significantly in the 1980’s, with more than 150 corporate owned locations, 103 franchises, and some locations overseas. However, failure of the company to change and adapt to changing consumer tastes in food lead to serious problems for the chain. In 2008, the company filed for bankruptcy. All New York and New England locations were closed immediately, as well as the 150 corporate locations.

Bennigan’s was sold and restructured in 2010. Today, the company has 23 locations in 11 states, 39 locations globally. The new owners, Legendary Restaurant Brands, LLC, have plans to rebuild the chain through remodeling and improved marketing.

Originally known as Peggy’s Farm, the Knoebel family farm had a small creek and swimming hole, which was popular with those seeking a picnic afternoon. The Knoebel family offered food, hand-made ice cream, and horse drawn hay filled wagon rides. The company’s official opening featured a borrowed steam powered merry go round and a few food stands,

Today, Knoebels has 63 rides, 6 roller coasters, and 2 water rides. The park offers free admission, with clients paying only for the rides they wish to enjoy and food.
