Conal International Trading Corporate Office

Conal International Trading Company, doing business in the US as Conal Footwear, has roots going back to 1983 in China, where the company designs and manufactures men’s and children’s shoes.

The oldest shoe line, Delli Aldo, is still one of their biggest selling items, however, the Polar Fox brand of shoes and boots have become popular as well.

Conal International Trading had to recall and temporarily stop selling one of their most popular boots, the Polar Fox Boot, when it was discovered that the sole left an imprint of a Nazi Swastika on the ground. The company states that this was simply a manufacturing error and that it was not intentional.

All products are designed in house. The company has several patents for their products, including their Candy Shell Hard Cases and Smartflex Card. Speck Products are sold in Apple stores around the globe.

Speck Products was acquired by Samsonite in May of 2014 for $85 million. As of this writing, the company maintains headquarters in San Mateo, California.

The Amish Outlet Store was founded in Smithville, Ohio, in 1999 by the Hilty family. The company sells handmade furniture from the Amish community.

The company guarantees that all their items were made in Ohio by members of the local Amish community. Custom made furniture can also be ordered. The Amish never use particle board or pressboard in their furniture, only hardwoods or locally cut trees, such as cherry, white oak, and hickory. Furniture is not premade or predesigned so there are no catalogs. Each piece is designed by the carpenter themselves, and is one of a kind. A carpenter might make several similar pieces, but no two will be exactly alike. All furniture is made by hand.

The Amish Outlet Store has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and 4.5 stars out of 5 on Yelp.

Barbeques Galore was founded in 1972 in a residential garage in Sydney, Australia. The company designs, sells, and manufactures BBQ grills and other outdoor items for the home.

The first store opened in Australia in 1977. The company expanded to the US, opening its first store in 1980. At first the company only placed stores in warmer areas, where people can grill outdoors almost year around. Later, the company began expanding into seasonal areas, such as Virginia and Maryland. The recession of 2008 hit the company hard and it filed for bankruptcy in August of 2008. Barbeques Galore was purchased by Grand Home Holdings, Inc. out of bankruptcy court. The new owners immediately closed all locations east of Texas.

Today, Barbeques Galore has 23 locations in Texas, California, and Arizona. They have updated their inventory to also include items such as fire pits, outdoor patio furniture, outdoor heaters, and kitchens.
