After cancelling my reservation on time, I have never received my refund or credits promised by the cheap caribbean. I kept calling for over a year waiting on my case to be resolved. First I was told I will get my full refund back. Then after I called to get my refund/travel credits back I was told that Cheap Caribbean is waiting on the taxi company to refund back around 200 dollars….After that I called and called back and I was always put on hold, or the called was lost…or they moved me around from department to department…I waisted at least over 40 hours being on hold, maybe even 80 hours….I worte emails and all I ever received back thank you for your patience and sorry for inconvenience we have casued you, we are working to resolve your case….after a long period of time I only get a half refund, and I am being told that the airlines do not want to refund the the full amount….from day one I was always told that the hotel and airlines gave back the refund, and that we were waiting on taxi company to make a refund. I called and cancelled the reservation on time, if Cheap Caribbean hasn’t done what they needed to do on their to cancel the reservation on time wiht the airlined then that is the responsbility of Cheap Caribbean, and cheap caribbean needs to eat up that cost…do not put the blame on me for not doing your job. I expect the get a full refund back so that I can take my vacation…Cheap Caribbean has refunded me the money for the hotel and taxi, but I can not go on vacation without the airlines included….I am requesting a full refund or traveling credits back…if this does not get resolved ASAP I need to know what is your mailing address so that I can send you a demand letter as well…Thank you.

We have a vacation credit from COVID. Your customer service reps first tried to tell me it is not valid. I spent three hours on the phone proving via email it is in fact still valid. Call back the next day to book as it’s getting close to the extension on the credit being over. There are only two airports within two hours of us, and only one flight home the week we are able to go. However your reps told me that we do not qualify for that flight bc we have to fly basic economy and cannot upgrade and pay the difference. I was told we could book it but not using our credit or just let our credit expire. He recommended calling delta to ask for refund. Spent another three hours on the phone with delta who informed me this is not their policy and they do not care what class we book in when we have travel credit. I asked for supervisor several times and am told absolutely not. I tired of being spun in circles and spending whole days on the phone trying to resolve this matter. Why is it that you have been paid in full for two years now, and make it so difficult for us to take our vacation? I have called corporate and if I do not get a response I will also be filing with the bbb, and contacting my attorney.

My 2 girls and I were so excited to spend some quality time together in Cancun before they both leave for college. We got to the airport bright and early at 5:30 in the morning, only to be told that Cheap Carribbean messed up our flight and there were no seats there for us. This, after I literally spent the entire day prior on the phone with Cheap Carribbean because I noticed the issue and was assured that the problem was corrected and there would be no trouble at the airport.
So, my girls and I came home and we had to cancel our trip as there were no other flights with available seats. I immediately called Cheap Carribbean when we got home from the airport and was told it was the airlines fault, they also blamed me because I “didn’t buy the correct ticket.” I was also told that they would not refund us for the cost of our trip. I am so saddly disappointed in this site, as we have used them several times before, and even recommended them to friends. The customer service has been horrific to say the least. Please, save your money and book with someone else.

I’m ready to file a law suit against them for lying to me and for scamming me. A category 2 hurricane was coming the day of travel al fights canceled and no refund. I will sue these a-holes that took my money and lied to me about my travel protection plan. Bunch of CROOKS!!!!

I purchased Reservation # 26E000CJ LAST YEAR. Due to COVID I had to cancel the reservation due to me going to Nursing School. I purchased Travel protection and was supposed to be issued a refund. On July 9th I called in and spoke with a rep to inform them of my card being stolen and for them to process the refund to a different card. The Rep informed me they would have to complete an investigation in order to process the refund and that I would have to call back after 30 days. I called on 08/03/21 and spoke with Bryan who informed me that they processed the refund to the card that was stolen and that I would have to speak with my Bank.
I informed him I don’t know why they did a transaction to a stolen card but I never received a refund because the card was canceled. I then asked Bryan to speak to a Manager or Supervisor in which he told me NO. He stated he helped and could not transfer me to a Supervisor then hung up. I called back several times, submitted a complaint to BBB and called Melaine from the BBB regarding the issue but never received a call back. I called in to extension #7121 onb 8/4/21 and was transferred to a customer service named Hanna who stated she would email me but never did. She also stated I should contact my bank then hung up on me.
I would like this issue to be resolved and for me to receive my refund on the correct card. I can provide account information and police documents supporting my card being stolen as well as me NEVER receiving a refund.
I am disappointed in the overall Customer Service of Cheap Caribbean as I have used them in the past with no issue, Moving forward I would like this issue to be resolved asap.

My trip was canceled by Cheap Caribbean I was told in Sept. that I would get a refund in 70 days for the $488.16 that my travel insurance did not cover. I can not get them to issue the refund and can not get a call back regarding this!!!!!!! I am on the verge of contacting an attorney….They took my whole $1550 the day I booked my trip why do I have to wait so long for a refund that goes right back to my card I paid with. I want my REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be in on that law suit as well! Can’t talk to anybody, get lied to, promises made and not kept, can never speak to a supervisor, have requests made and never serviced! This sounds like a huge problem!

did you get an attorney? i’m on the phone with cheap caribbean right now; been on hold for 1:24 minutes for a supervisor. they are saying my credits expired and i need a doctor’s note. i’m out $1200. I want to talk to someone about a refund, My wife and I had booked a trip for March 22, but we were not able to make the trip because of the Virus issue.
I was to move are trip up another time, which we did.
Being in our 70’s and more we hear about this Virus, we don’t feel very safe about taking a trip.
No, we didn’t take out the insurance, because the last trip we took we something come up that was out of our control, and they would,t give us a refund at that time either , we just moved up for a later date.
At this time we not planning to travel out of the states again put yourself in our shoes, I think you feel the same way.

I booked a trip to Jamaica with one of your reps (Lisa @ ext. 7560) via phone earlier this year, for myself, wife, & group of friends to celebrate our 6th Wedding anniversary. However, upon our arrival at the resort (Grand Bahia Principe), the couple of Carlos & Heidi Figueroa were not placed in the type of room that was booked for them originally, nor were they in the vicinity of the rest of our group (also requested at the time of booking). They were taken to a room with double beds (rather than a king bed per original booking) that was also 5 buildings away from the rest of the group. When we approached Guest Services to correct these things immediately, we were told that the information to be placed in the vicinity of the rest of us was not relayed by your rep to the resort & that they could not accommodate them right away.
We have used your booking agency multiple times over the past few years for our travel abroad & have not encountered any issues such as this until now. This is my wife & my second stay at this resort and we loved it the first time with no problems. So we decided to invite our friends along for this trip & told them how wonderful it would be. However, with these errors right off the bat when we got there, at no apparent fault of the resort, we were embarrassed because we spoke so highly of this resort. Additionally, our anniversary trip was tainted because we were now worried about our friends’ impression of the resort & could not enjoy our stay as much as we would’ve liked. I will be following up with this complaint via phone on Monday (10/23/17).

I booked a trip to Puerto Rico In July for the end of October for a wedding through this site. Hurricane Maria came this month (September) and destroyed the island. Seeing as the resort was shut down I tried to cancel. At first I was told I would receive the money back on my card and then was told I may only receive a credit to purchase again with cheap carribean. I am extremely disappointed that they are not giving the money back to my card seeing the cirXXXXstances of this natural disaster. I am looking for a way to contact corporate and speak with them because this is completly unfair and not rite to lock people in at a time like this.

We were not picked up at our hotel in Cancun by Amstar which was the transportation we had booked with Cheap Carribean. We were forced to hire a cab and pay $25. Our cab driver took us to the wrong terminal so we were forced to pay an additional $5. I was told by the Amstar rep. at our hotel that if I contact cheap carribean when I return home I would receive a credit on my card. At the airport, we were offered 350 pecks by an Amstar rep. but I refused as Inwas returning to the US. He told me it would be the only way I would be refunded my money. I have called Cheap Carribean four times. I have been disconnected, told they are working on it, etc…We returned 11 days ago and I still do not have my credit. I have been told they would return my call. No one has returned my call. Today I called the Corporate Offices to complain and left a voice mail. I just want credited what I paid for twice, once to Cheapcarribean and twice to the cab driver.

I book a vacation for me and five other family. The place that was book for us is 5 hours from the airport. I call back to see if they could change the hotel. I was told no. The trip isn’t until late June. I was also charge 99 dollars for everyone that was going.they said that this was for taxes. What can I do. i booked a trip for my mother 85th birthday and my daughters 25 for this coming summer , june 27 to july 3 in punta cana . i WAS TOLD THERE WAS ONE FLIGHT NON STOP . and i booked it 730 am leaving JFK. When i discussed this with my mom she thought it was to early given her age and the distance to the airport . I called back and was told that there was nothing i could do unless i paid another 800 or so dollars to change the flights . THIS CALL WAS MADE THE SAME DAY AND WITH IN A 2 HOUR SPAN FROM MY BOOKING .Yesterday i noticed Delta has an 11am flight . i called to speak to a supervisor he did nothing to assist me after a 1 hr phone wait on hold . I was once again told basically tough XXXXX come up with 800 . This trip is special . This trip has an elderly person and i feel that some better solutions could have been offered . I FEEL I WAS HURRIED OFF THE PHONE , LIKE THE SUPERVISOR COULD GIVE 2 XXXXXS AS TO WHY I CALLED . NO PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS ,Your prices are good your customer service sucks .I will not recommend this site to any one any more . When i called two hrs later i should have been put on a more convenient flight . maybe a room upgrade in lieu of airplane change , Anything to rectify a bad situation . I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT AN 85 YEAR OLD WOMAN WOULD HAVE TO BE UP AT 2 AM TO MAKE IT TO THE AIRPORT ON TIME . YOU WOULD THINK THAT COURTESY WOULD HAPPEN TO MAKE A BIRTHDAY SPECIAL . I was actually a big advocate of Cheap Caribbean and recommended friends to use the site after we had last year for our honeymoon. Three days ago, I came back to the site to book our anniversary trip, and even though it was more expensive for the same hotel we still followed through knowing its a month earlier, so travel prices are affected by that. I literally booked our trip day before yesterday, and realized that I booked it a week earlier than I was supposed to for my husbands work schedule. Usually a super easy fix whenever I book flights, however I was advised that I would be charged $450 to change our flight details. This is not per contract and it is not an oversight on my part. We will be cancelling our whole trip and booking elsewhere due to being treated the way we have been as a repeat guest. The airline does NOT charge $200 per passenger to change a ticket to an equally charged ticket. I am so disappointed that I recommended this site and that I chose to try and use them again as we would have every year if they were anywhere near what I had touted them to be. Don’t use them!! To even change the TIME of a ticket they will take your money regardless!!!
