On 1-10-21 I visited store #30646 2:10 pm Meridian, Id. Ordered 2 steak Mexicano burritos. Over cooked/reheated steak, which was VERY chewy. steak was cut-up into 1/2 inch pieces (maybe 6-7 pieces in each burrito) Chips were old and stale. Very unpleasant experience.

*Two order of crispy fish combo – left over fish was refried and it became dry and starchy.
*Tostada Salad – No Meat – Food packer Gloria saw meat on Tostada Salad and pushed the box behind the table and told cook something. I literally saw cook remove meat from Tostada and added salad and fixed the box and pushed it in the front to employee Gloria to bag it.
I confronted Employee Gloria and asked her why did you instruct cook to remove meat and fixed Tostada with salad ? I told her that I am a vegetarian and my entire order has no beef or chicken item. She then trashed the Tostada and made me a new one.
One of the worst dinner experiences and store was not busy at all.
My $ 68.62 total was down the drain at one of the finest and prominent restaurant BajaFresh.

Placed an ordered today on line. Had a valid coupon for $5.00 off $20.00 order. Would not take the promo code on line. Told the employee that we had the coupon, he said he couldn’t do anything about it. I feel like the coupon should have been honored. It was valid and there was a place to put the code in. I guess I won’t be ordering on line again.

We had lunch on 8/25/18. Our bill was $18.32. Your staff took my credit card, swiped it on a SQUARE machine and charged 19.3% TIP of $4.38 that we did NOT authorize. This is theft. I did not authorize tip and your staff is stealing $4.38 deliberately from us.
The store is also dirty, restroom even dirtier and the clerk was very indifferent. I have been in other Baja Fresh before and this was a restaurant that ranks the worst.

I visit my mom in Medford Oregon today went to Baja Fresh on crater lake the worse food I ever had in my life. Order tacos with rice and black beans and my mom had a chicken plate any way the rice was way over cooked and no flavor in any of the food the rice taste like water. We did not eat the food it was so bad I spoke with the manager and she would not refund me my 25.00 we spent and did not even acknowledge how bad it was. The answer I got we follow the receipt that’s to bad. I will never support this place

By far the worst food I’ve ever had at a Baja Fresh. I ordered a chicken tostada and the chicken was so hard that I could have broke a tooth. We also had three fish tacos that were ordered americano style. The tacos didn’t have tomatoes on them, the lettuce was horrible quality and the fish tasted old. I’m just so disappointed and grossed out by the quality of our meals tonight.

We asked for a credit and the manager said they couldn’t help me I needed to call corporate. I asked for the phone which they did not have. I asked if the main manager could call me with the I formation, still no call. First I emailed them I called this corporate phone number left s message on 10/24/17 asking for a phone call back I wanted my $38.75 credited and today is 10/25/17 never received a phone call. This is terrible Customer Service 5 Times I asked for help. You took my money and now I can’t get anyone to help.

I want to start off saying I really love the food from Baja Fresh. Our office phone orders from the West Hills, Ca location once a week.
Last Friday I placed a phone order. 2 side salads add chicken, 1 kids taquito meal with black beans and applesauce and 3 bags of chips. She repeated my order to me and my boss was sitting there while I placed it and heard me say add chicken to the salads.
What did I get? 2 side salads no chicken, a kids taquito meal all black beans no apple sauce and two bags of chips. I called to let them know that they got my order all wrong and the girl who answered the phone said that they would replace a kids meal because that was all that was wrong. REALLY??? What about the chicken on the salads and the other bag of chips?
So today I thought I would give them a chance to get it right and ordered again by phone. Bridgett helped me and I ordered exactly the same thing. This time the salads were right but the kids meal had rice instead of black beans and there were only two bags of chips again. There are 3 people eating 3 things ordered why do they always give less chips?? Am I being unreasonable to ask for a small bag per person? Don’t they give you free chips when you dine in?? Its so annoying!!!
How hard is it to get a simple order right? We call for pick up because we don’t have time to go there to eat because we can’t leave the office. We do not have time for someone to take the food back so they can correct our order.. I think all 3 of us should get a free lunch. I wonder if Baja Fresh would get it right the 3rd time!!
I feel better now!

Maybe if you have time it would pay to check the order before leaving. I have to do that at a few places..Seems a couple places done’t under stand plain cheesburger, no mayo, no mustard..Just meat, cheese & bun. That’s the way granddaugher likes it..Now I check as soon as they give it..Except when I forget..haha..
Good luck.

It’s Bonnie again..Forgot to mention that every time we’ve gone into any of the Baja Fresh places, each of us were given our own little container of chips..Yesterday there were 4 of us to share one of the little containers..Very disappointed with the service from the cashier girl..Usually we are given our water glasses, we found them next to the cashier, no big deal, but she just seemed a bit lazy on details..

I did the follow couple of complaint reviews..I got a call from a Laura out of one of the offices..I’m thinking she’s the manager or someone of authority..She apologized to no end regarding my coupon not being used by voiding the order and redo or there would have been an easy fix..I’m guessing she could have given a drink or something to apease us..Any way Laura apologized for the bad service, She took my address. Today I received some coupons to use..She went way above the duty & was extremely. nice..I called to thank her, she was on vacation til next week. I will call again & thank her. I also have a thank you card..I will complain, but also I will give good reviews…
Just a little funny..I told my husband I think I’ll get a shirt that says Be nice, I complain..Good & Bad…
I also feel better letting all know you just have to go to the right people. They want to know how the staff is doing. Don’t want any of us to just quit..

Yesterday we went to Baja Fresh with a $5 off coupon.. The main reason you bring the coupon is you want $5 off your bill…Our total came to about $30,,Then the cashier says, oh I forgot to deduct the coupon..Kind of looked at her, figuring she would suggest Maybe Voiding the ticket & a re do….nope, she said you can use it nex time you come in…Why can’t they void out & re do??every other store I have been to that has made an error, will void it..plus the blk bean burrito was pinto bean, didn’t want to take it back after biting into it & was too hungry to mess with things..Coupon expires soon, so that wasn’t the best advise she should have given…
Thanks for “listening” Bonnie

I read the comment where one customer had some difficulities with her service & the cashier apologized & gave her free entree coupons..Wish that could have happened to me when we had our cashier that forgot to take our coupon off. Very disappointed with this Baja Fresh in Boise Idaho on Milwaukee..

Visited the Baha Fresh restaurant on Dec. 3, ordered two original fish tacos, one to go ,one in restaurant down Bakersfield,CA location. Specified no chips. When I picked up the in restaurant taco, the taco was buried in taco chips in the paper tray. Since did not anyone else touching my food , so I flicked off the chips onto the counter.. The attendant commented that is not very nice. Sat down , eat the fish taco and left the restaurant the to go taco.
On Dec 4 ,visited the same Baha fresh as the previous day and ordered two to go fish tacos.
The attendant shorted changed me and ask for the remainder, the food preparer had to open the cash register with plastic gloves on her hands. When I received the two tacos noticed that both tacos were rolled up in one aluminum foil wraps. I asked if the two tacos could be wrapped, separately. The ordered taker attendant pulled the wrapped tacos from the bag and one of the tacos fell to the bottom of the bag, totally disarranged, I ask if I could get a replacement taco , since the one in the bottom of the plastic bag did not even look like a taco. I ask if I could get a replacement taco. At this time the owner got up from a table with other people. He told me I was getting my money back. I received my cash money back. He then escorted me out of the restaurant, and was told not to come back and there were other places to eat.
I would like to buy fish tacos from this restaurant in the future.

I recently received excellent customer service at the Baja Fresh on Lancaster Dr in Salem, OR. I gave my order to one employee, & after she took the order, she went in back. Another employee, Marisa, came out to wait on customers. She didn’t know that I had not yet received my order. When the cook placed it up on the shelf, she could not see it from her point of view, so she didn’t know it was up there. After waiting for awhile, I went up to the counter to ask about my order. Marisa was helping some other customers right then, but she looked at me & indicated that she would be with me soon. After taking the other customer’s order, she asked me what she could help me with. I told her that I had not yet received my order, & it had been several minutes. I asked her if I could have it to go. She apologized, talked with the cook ( I imagine it was to confirm that the order had been there awhile) She quickly got my order repackaged to go, apologized again for the oversight, & gave me a card for a free entree. Employees with such great customer service skills are rare. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but having an employee handle the situation so well made it a positive experience. Baja Fresh is blessed to have such a great person as Marisa working for & representing your company.
