Lillian Roberts describes herself a “serial entreprenuer.” After realizing that accounting was still in the “analog” phase of technology, she decided to change all that. Roberts founded Xendoo in 2016.

Xendoo is an innovative cloud-based bookkeeping and accounting platform focused on helping small businesses.

In an interview, Roberts stated that she quickly saw that small businesses could not compete with larger ones when it came to accounting issues. Xendoo is on a mission to aggregate data in a way that’ll help small business owners understand their industries better and ultimately improve profits.

In December 2020, the company integrated QuickBooks directly into its software program.

Due to the pandemic, Xendoo lost a few clients, but the company’s overall growth has been reported to be more than 700% in the past two years. The company plans to hire a minimum of 10 people in the south Florida area.

Scott Wolfe was working at his family’s construction business in 2005 after Katrina hit New Orleans. The inefficient manners used to get paid, as well as the delays and numerous requests to demand payment, were exhausting. Wolfe decided to create a more efficient payment platform. Originally named Zlein, Levelset was born in 2006.

The payment platform allows contractors to get paid faster. The average wait for payments in the construction industry is 83 days. This SaS platform cuts that time in half for most companies.

Today, LearnVest provides content, tools, support, and financial planning services to help women learn how to better manage their finances. The website educates its subscribers  about money, including lifestyle tips for making a reasonable budget and sticking to it. In addition, it covers topics ranging from tracking spending to paying down student loans and planning wallet friendly outings, even plotting strategies when asking for a raise.

Alex Von Tobel is also the author of a book, Financially Fearless, and regularly hosts live events, as well as book tours, across the US.
