    And the students have no where to shop
    And the town needs a store

    My daughter was fired from Marshall’s in Novato, Ca. I am not concerned about my daughter being fired from a job but the way she was fired is illegal.

    She was brought into a back room, interrogated, threatened, illegally recorded from a managers cell phone, lied to and told she had stolen money from the cash register, the manager had her sign paperwork, and then said you are terminated. Paid my daughter in cash and then told her she would be getting a bill for the money she stole. NEVER SHOWED VIDEO OF HER STEALING BECAUSE SHE DIDNT. If she did, shouldn’t law enforcement have been called to the matter?

    My daughter feels she was targeted because she had told another employee that she shouldn’t be getting paid cash, she should be getting paid by check like everyone else.

    This is completely unacceptable and should be investigated immediately.

    I am am anticipating on a response to this email.

    Cannot find how to contact HR, CEO, or even how to file a complaint.

    I have shoppe Marshalls and TJ Maxx. The Manager at the Norwalk Ct Store went above and beyond in customer service. Her name is Coleen Obrien and she deserves a raise. I also recommended the manager is the Stamford store. They were both exemplary.

    I visited Marshalls 1240 Old Country Rd, Carle Place, NY and needless to say I have shopped here many times. On my visit 9/10/ 22 the restroom was in the worse conditions that I have seen anywhere. The smell was horrible, used toilet paper was everywhere in the floor. You leave there with an smell that stays in the nostrils , on your clothes and in your hair so disgusting. I left there without making a purchase. Restrooms should be cleaned regularly this is a part of customer satisfaction. I also have pictures of this unsightly place.

    I was delightfully blessed and tremendously and pleasantly surprised to be in a store shopping for 2 hours (I strongly dislike shopping) Everything was easy to find many associates to assist. The most impressive was check out I had to split my order in 6 separate orders to get separate receipts for gifts. The associate was tremendously polite and very helpful in separating each order. I had approximately 5 bags and the associate asked if I needed help to my car I chuckled thinking he was joking, well not the case.
    Just two years short of 70 years young it was a tremendous blessing to have help to my vehicle by Roland especially because it had gotten dark as well. Thank you tremendously for you exemplary service this is truly exceptional customer service ????????
    I called the store to speak to the store manager to share my excellent experience and to my surprise it was actually the manager Roland who went above and beyond to exceed my expectations, thank you tremendously Marshall’s for Roland giving exemplary phenomenal service.

    Have you seen recently the video of a person stealing merchandise from the grand concourse store in the Bronx she put merchandise in a shopping bags and then get out from the store and the manager did nothing to stop her is insane how this person gets in the store steal what she wants and then leave how this is possible

    This is the best of the best experience at the Marshall’s 3250 Airport Blvd . Mobile, Ala 36606/ Manager: Mrs Katie. Such a beautiful experience. Excellent Customer Service shown by cashiers. Especially Mr Gene who was very professional & customers friendly asking out my experience in the store asking if I wanted to open a Marshall account & the discount if open return policy etc. Cleanliness of the store in impeccable. Easily found clothing on racks. Excellent selection. Price’s are great. The best store in the southeast region. I travel & shop frequently. This store is above a perfect 10. Thanks to Mrs Katie & Marshalls for such professional & expert Customers Service shown during my visit.

    I shopped at Marshalls, Northgate, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada last Jan. 6, 2020. Disgusted and appalling customer service in this store, won’t be back. I will share this info to my friends and neighbors so they are aware of this unfair practice. I went to the cashier to pay for my purchase. Four items were on clearance (with red tag marked clearly the price). The cashier told me that that red tag prices were not the actual prices, the cash register did not reflect the clearance prices. I then asked for the manager, two managers showed up and explained to me that sometimes the store clerk reduce the prices without telling them nor inputting it in the computer. What a stupid excuse/policy as if it is a customer’s duty to check the final price. If that’s the case, why don’t the store install a machine to check the actual price, like other major stores do. I have shopped here few times, buying things on clearance and never have this problem. I was also informed that the manager has the authority to decide what price is correct, regardless what the red tag says!
    Also, am glad I checked my receipt in front of the cashier before I left the store. The clerk charged me a red blouse which she did not include in my shopping bag. She found it beside the cash register. I am overly embarrassed, holding the customer line, angry looking customers looking at me and the cashier. If I shopped at Winner’s sometimes, if the merchandise does not reflect the lower price, the store adjust it. Does Marhall’s have different policy? Such harrowing experience! I am NOT complaining about the cashier, she was polite, it is the store policy that needs to change, ensuring the correct price in the merchandise is the ACTUAL price, don’t embarrass your customers. I won’t be back anyway. Hope it does not happen to other customers. I should have recorded the entire conversation and submit it to Go Public in Canada.

    I also emailed Customer Service about this complaint, no word from them, so I phoned. Same explanation given to me, the manager has the final decision, what a poor policy, certainly a policy that drives a customer not to shop there!

    My Husband bought me a Handbag for a Christmas Present at Marshals in Plantation Florida, I didn’t like the Handbag & wanted to return it.
    I had the receipt & went back with the Handbag to the store it was purchased at.
    The Cashier told me he had to call the store manager, because the handbag was over $200:00.
    The manager told me I couldn’t return the Handbag because it didn’t match the description in his system, although the price & the receipt did.
    I am very upset about this, the manager Mike knows my Husband & I as being very could Customers & having to go through this very aggravating experience

    Good afternoon. While I absolutely understand return policies on intimate apparel, I also believe there should be exceptions. I purchased a set of two bras for my daughter on 10/26/19 at Marshall’s in Hadley,MA. One of the bras is fine but the other tore right on the seam of the lace layer of the bra after first wash ( no dryer). It can clearly be seen that this was in the seam and just a defect in the way the garment was sewn, the store manager refused to let us exchange for a new set of bras. I understand if this was 3 or 4 months later or if we were asking for a refund. However, sometimes garments are not stitched correctly and the store should make it right. I think this is a gross abuse of return policies if an item is defective like this. I guess we’ll be taking our shopping elsewhere and share on social media for others to do the same. Imagine that my daughter thought we could start to purchase her bras at Marshall’s instead of spending more at Victoria secret. Well, at least VS will make it right when an item is defective.

    I am inquiring about a commercial on tv that is running now. It shows a woman with a blue jacket she got at Marshalls. My wife likes the jacket and has been searching Marshalls for it but has not found one. I am a combat wounded Vietnam veteran and disabled veteran and she has been a rock for me taking care of me and I want to show her my thanks by getting a small token of my appreciation for her by getting her that same kind of jacket as shown but I do not know where to find it, as none of the Marshalls in our area have any. Thought I would take a chance and send this email in hopes someone could help me locate one. It is a blue jacket with zippers and kind of a v neck.

    My daughters work at Marshall’s and it is just so funny to me how you can report store managers to corporate with complaints and nothing is ever done. They can write some people up for certain things and others not for the same thing. The managers two for sure will talk and run their mouths about employees and customers also and think is just so ok. Corporate please give me an email would LOVE to talk to you about this.

      I used to work in the marshalls on Sepulveda and North hills, CA (9028 Sepulveda Blvd, North Hills, CA 91343). I am writing this because I believe I provided my availability with enough time however the scheduling has continued to be conflicting with my school schedule. School is very important for me and unfortunately, I can no longer continue prioritizing Marshalls. My managers expect me to breathe, eat, and sleep Marshalls. After sending my manager various messages about my school availability he still decided to keep the one that did not match with my school and work and tried to write me up for something I did not have control over. I hope to hear back from the company because this manager needs better skills handling schedules instead of getting mad at me.

    Store Location Henry Town Center 1930 Jonesboro Road McDonough, Ga 30253 I’m writing in regards to my experience as I attempted to return Christmas items I purchased for my two granddaughters which was shoes that they tried on was to small. I’ve arrived at my local Marshall’s with my receipt which was in the 30 day time frame. However, cashier Winter began to say that can’t except Christmas Returns without even asking if I had my receipt. Items was purchased on 12/22/2018 attempted to return the items on 1/20/2019. Winter began to walk away upset because I stated that I have my receipt and it clearly hasn’t been 30 days, On upon that cashier Winter stated that she can’t help me, I’ve explained to Winter as well Manager Shay, the both of them that the shoes are too small, and that my grand daughters only tried them on. Everyday you have customers try on shoes, they put them right back on display or inside the box. Why would the shoes be wore especially when there two small. They didn’t play in the the shoes wasn’t damage at all. All I wanted was to return them to get a different size. As a loyal customer I spend thousands of dollars with your company. Shay which is your manager was rude and very distasteful. To walk away without being satisfied as well as mishandled in regards to a return clearly isn’t the way I should’ve been handled. Now my grand daughters doesn’t have the shoes that will fit them. I’m looking to hear back from someone from your company in regards to this, I have proof as well as pictures of the items. All I want is this issue to be resolved and addressed to your 2 employees. I hope no one else get treated this way.

    Hi, I want to start by complimenting Jasmine in customer service (508-390-1000) for her professional handling of my issue.
    I returned a Christmas gift to my local Marshalls in Great Barrington Ma. I told the cashier that my son bought it at TJ Maxx and I had no receipt for it. She said she couldn’t exchange it unless I found the same one in that store. I found one that was Blue, same exact style the color I wanted. The one I was returning was Tan. She told me that it had to be the same color or she could not exchange it, which annoyed me, to say the least. so I went home and called the main number and was fortunate to get Jasmine, who explained what the store policy is and that the item should have been given a store credit at least and it would have been fine to just exchange the Tan for the Blue. She also os issuing a store credit and will be in touch with the manager of my local store. I have been a Marshall’s shopper from the start and never had an issue. Iam grateful to Jasmine and the way she handled this cituation.

    Hello on May 2 2018 I bought sandals waited to the weekend put them on after 1hr the seam by the toe came undone. All day I had to go without shoes I did not keep my receipt as I had no idea the craftmenship was defective. Took them back to the Niles Il store where I purchased the sandals the cashier look as if she was discusseded to even look at the shoes accusing me as they are old and worn yes they were for 1hour . Needles to say was extremely rude and unsupportive to rectify the issue or offer any type of return Thank you c takahashi

    I went to the Brand New Marshalls in Saint Charles Missouri, this was my 1st time in many years, and now I know why I don’t shop there anymore. I waited in line, while they had 3 lights on and 1 cashier, and the manager standing up front just ignored everyone. She kept complaining about her cashier wanting a break, and she was not going to ring anyone up, after 15 minutes she said I can help you. Going back to my old customer service manager days, I was absolutely disgusted with the manager, and I told her it was her responsibility to take car of her customers and to stop berating her cashier. If someone needs to use the restroom, or take a break it’s the law, and she’s doing her job, while this incompetent manager isn’t doing hers. Nothing makes me angrier than a manager faulting her employees for her own lazy actions. I returned my items at lunch today, and I will Never shop there again.

    I have an issue with the Marshall in Largo Maryland, They fail to give me all of the items from the layaway I paid for I talked to the manager on duty and she went to look for me and they all the shoes were missing I shop at that store for a long time and only had 1 other issue. I would like to know what happened. Now I without the shoes for my granddaughter. I would like a response. Thanks

    I purchased a dress…..and it’s literally falling apart at the seams. I’m in shock!! Never purchased an outfit of such poor quality before. And of course I don’t have the receipt. But I have photos. Very disappointed

    I purchased an conair face cleanser brush at Marshall. It work find for about two weeks then stop working; I took it back to Marshall explaining it stop working; immediately the cashier said we dont take back beauty products or electronics. I said I have my receipt, She said is it under thirty days? I said yes? And I said I used my visa card you can place it back on it; she call someone and the took it back and put the refund back card. The receipt says; Refunds within 30 days with receipt store credit only with gift receipt other restrictions may apply. There is nothing explain what things are restricted( I understand makeup) Not for returning I am calling corporate on that store in NC

    Back in 1983 I moved from NYC to CT. A few years after my move I started shopping at Marshall’s in Stratford, CT. My daughter is now 27 years old and I have shopped at Marshall’s and TJMaxx since she was in her stroller.

    Some of my family members live and work in the Bronx. My experience shopping at your stores over the years has been exceptional and because I am a long time customer I got to know many managers so I have been pretty satisfied.

    However, my experience in the Bronx stores is in stark contrast to what I have previously described.

    My husband works for the City of New York and I sometimes stop in at the Marshall’s a few doors down from his workplace. One evening I asked to be let into the restroom around 5:40 p.m. in the Marshall’s at Grand Concourse and Fordham Road and I was shocked and appalled at what I saw.
    I have attached pictures.

    I blame customers of course, however, it has been apparent that the manager at the store on Fordham Road in the Bronx is not paying attention.

    Do you not have maintenance staff in your stores? And for the record no maintenance person should have to be exposed to such biohazards on a daily basis.

    That is just disgusting and at some point that bathroom should have been closed off and sanitized.

    Hi: I am a neighbor and regular patron at the Marshalls in Encino, CA. Address: 15945 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91436. My complaint is specific to the grounds that the store is on. There is a park that is attached to the parking lot that is never kept up. I have contacted LA City several times due to it being over-run with weeds, etc., mattresses and carts being dumped their as well as it just becoming a trash heap for non-environment conscious patrons. Currently there are 3 carts in this park that have been there going on two weeks. One of them happens to belong to Marshalls. The last time I contacted LA City to schedule a pick up for the dumped items, I was informed that this is not a property of the city (not a city park) and that is the responsibility of the land owner or renter to keep this property up. They did have the overgrown weeds cut after that, but it seems to only be an issue when someone complains. When I first moved into this neighborhood (upscale with homes pricing in the millions) this park was kept very well. So much that you could actually take a break in that area for lunch. I think there must have been different management for the store at that time. Please let me know what we can do about this. It is a horrible eye-sore particularly being near the corner and makes the neighborhood look run down. I should not be the one scheduling dump pick-ups, etc. This is the responsibility of Marshalls. Thanks for your consideration and concern.

    I am extremely disappointed in your decision to bring politics into your business. I will no longer be shopping here as it is both unprofessional and childish to discontinue Ivanka Trumps line. You seem to forget that your customers are on both sides of the political spectrum. By you discounting her line to please one side you are basically telling everyone else who doesn’t care about the political stigma to go screw themselves. You are dividing our country even more than it already is and for that you should be ashamed!

Further be advised that I will not shop there ever again due to what you just did to Ivanka Trump’s line which I also purchased there.     I am a parent of one of your past Co workers Imani Simmons, at your Marshall’s Store Lansing Illinois location. Your entire management team is unprofessional, rude and prejudice. I have witnessed on several occasions as a shopper, how they treated employees unethical. My husband and I will be filing a complaint on behalf of our daughter. Your staff at that location Zak, Heather, and Dina all are racist. My family and friends will never shop at any of your franchise Companies again. I will never patronize a Company that treats me or my family unjust. Your company owes my daughter and formal apology and her last check that your managers with held.     To Whom It May Concern,

    I would like to share an experience that I had not too long ago at one of your stores located at the Palmer Square Shopping Center in New Rochelle.

    I went to Marshalls to return some items that I purchased through the holidays, I am called to next available register associate who I find to be a very, uninterested sales associate by the name of Kenisha. During the transactions I see she is making faces, sucking her teeth and completely taking an unusual long time trying to find a tag for an item that already had one. When she returns from who knows where, Kenisha tells me that I couldn’t return the item because it wasn’t purchased in this store. As a consumer and card holder I am fully aware of the policies and my rights as a customer. I knew that what she was informing me was incorrect. I really couldn’t believe what I was hearing and seeing. It was a return not a death sentence, I have the right to return an item as long as it falls under the stores compliance. It was truly obvious that she was unprepared to work that day. I asked her for her name because she did wear her name tag and she debated with me about giving me her name. After my persistance she gave me her name.

    Luckily, a manager by the name of Jean R. was passing by and I stopped her. I explained to her what was going on. Jean agreed that I was correct and that I could return the item at any Marshalls. Taking over the transaction Jean sends Kenisha to the employee area to retrieve her lanyard and to have a talk with her. It was brought to my attention that this wasn’t Kenisha’s first complaint.

    I feel it is my right as a consumer to express my distaste for companies who tolerate and overlook your sales associates’ behavior.
    Kenisha was rude, very unprofessional with little to no knowledge of what customer service means. I went on line to file a complaint to Consumer Affairs and surprisingly, Marshalls had many complaints similar to mine.

    I feel it is your obligation as a retailer to assure each customer a sterling store experience. Your employees reflect your company. The register is the last place the store has to make a good impression. Sadly, your store failed.

    Good Afternoon, I have been shopping at MMarshall’s in Hamden for over 20 years. I had never encounter a problem there until the fall of 2016. I had a layaway I went to pay on. The woman who was working in layaway spoke to me in a manner in which I would never address a dog. She swore at me and laughed. I asked for the manager who was a short Caucasian male. He came to the back of the store to that department. He told me “that the woman whom I was referring to would never behave in such manner. The wOman whose name is Ventura stood behind the manager and laughed, made more faces at me behind the managers back. Since that episode it got to the point where when ever I had to make a layaway payment. This woman would refuse to help me. She would walk away right in front of me and say, “I am on my brake as if now”. Then as if I were a ghost, she would walk away. Often I seen the look on this mans face. I would have to stand at the register while he went in search of someone to take care of me. I cannot possibly stress the feeling of disgust I felt. As I stood at the register wondering how can a person treat another human in such a way yet work in a public place. I stopped shopping there. However, I should not have to stop shopping or doing anything else I do. Because a staff at this place does not know how to treat people.

      Went to Marshalls on Queens Blvd. and purchased an Evolution carryon bag. When I approached the register the ticket could not be found to scan the item. The associate who was helping me told me her name was Diana, same as my name. I remember seeing 2 of the same bags. I went back to where I got it and the other one was gone. I remember this bag because I saw it at Target on Junction Blvd. mall. I told her it was $39.99. She called the manager and the Manager told me that it must be a mistake and that she believed it would be $59.99. She refused to give it to me. I asked her her to call the Target store on Junction Blvd. to confirm the cost of the item. I left my name and number and had it put on hold. She never called me back. I found a better one at the Target on Junction Blvd. I ended up getting a Samsonite for $59.99. See attached photo. The Marshalls on Queens Blvd. is very disorganized and no one seemed to take the extra step to help out their customers. No one seemed to care at all.

    Hello,

    I signed up for a Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx rewards card not knowing they were credit cards. I am 20 years old and unaware of these kinds of cards, especially when your sales associates make it seem as though it is a card that offers you discounts, like grocery store cards, instead of informing the customer that it is a credit card. I declined twice but was so heavily pressured. To make this situation even more of a headache, when I found out they were credit cards I had signed up for, I called Marshalls, in Chevy Chase to see how I would go about fixing the problem, the store manager, Craig or Greg Boggs, not certain of the last name was incredibly rude and nonchalant, laughing as if this was some kind of joke. I was clearly in distress about the mistake I had made because of the wording the sales associate used. I would like a response from you for the store manager’s rude behavior.

      They are unprofessional
      Unaccomidating
      And u should shop else where
      Ross is cheaper
      And way better customer service
