-8 months after install solar panels on approved
    -8+ inspections failed
-Still paying for full electric bill and solar
-Terrible customer communication if any response at all
-sent an invoice to remove panels at $15k. Someone found that was an error and almost DOUBLE what it should have been after we already paid half
-now that panels installed can’t get any response from anyone

DON’T DO IT!!!! I am suing them!!! They killed my 803 credit score by not doing what they said they would. They promise if the system is not working by the time you have to make payments they will cover them…FIVE MONTHS later, it is still not connected, and they blame CORE, CORE says they do this all the time, and blame CORE, and don’t pay, and cost you the interest rate they said they would give. Collection people come to your door…… Their salespeople do not work for ION, their install people do not work for ION, every part of ION is farmed out. They work with people for financing that are so bad, even ION won’t deal with them anymore, but they have NO problem with giving your most private information to them. They do not explain how to get the fabulous solar tax rebates they claim, they do not tell you how to work it. They force you to tie it into your computer or phone, using your data without asking permission. In short- They promise the world and give you filth. I am writing every senator, congressman, advertiser, attorney’s general, their partners, everyone investing in their company, every law enforcement group, consumer advocacy group…..even into other competitors, and companies where they are peddling their filth. JUST SAY NO TO ION!!!!!

I wish I had found these comments before I went with Ion. It has been nothing but a headache and the is one electrician that has his head up his butt. I had the panels installed in February and here it is August and still no working solar. Finally approved but they said now another month or two before the power company will get their part done.

I, as well as my daughter and son-in-law, have had the same experience as the woman in the comment above describes. Constant delays, very poor or no communication about important details (i.e. my permit with my electric company expired after six months due to ION-caused flubs, necessitating re-application in order to obtain a final inspection). There is virtually NO way to contact anyone personally for updates. I had a second rental property project going as well, but ION made so many mistakes they ran over the six-month limit for obtaining my funding and could not procure another resource–so I cancelled that project. Wish I had NEVER gone with this company!

Very poor customer service, and I mean very poor. No excuse. Service scheduled three times for electrician crew. All three times they were a no show without any contact. As of today, January 29, 2022, we are still waiting for the panels that we paid for and cleared ION’s bank on 12/21/21 to be set up to run.
